Because the part in the brain that can remember short term memory in a woman is bigger than a man's. The short term memory is saved faster in a woman than in a man. That's why if a woman asks a man "Honey, what day is today?" we just stare at them with a blank look while we search through our long term memory and come up blank when it was never stored in our short term memory in the first place. O.K...o.k..Woman are better at remembering things. There I said it!

I'm a history buff. You're stereotyping... this doesn't apply to all men. However, men are more likely to concentrate on the task at hand - it goes back to the time of the cave men when they weren't worried about what happened before - they were trying not to get killed by the saber tooth tiger.

Its actually a genetic prediposition, Something to do with sensory memory. I dont remember the source, but I am sure there is info on the research somewhere

haha it really is humorous i'm astounding at keep in concepts dates, even purely random ones. I had a school math classification and each and each and every time the teach would allow us to paintings in communities no longer even kidding all the boys (there have been like 3 women contained in the classification the others were stupid ) would come to me for help. I Helped men on the baseball crew, basketball crew it develop into truly humorous seeing all of them turn round and skoot their desks in course of me. i wager the boys in my section were purely dumb. My boyfriend now that I actually have develop into contained in the classification with me too!

I really wouldnt know but i might have to agree with Robert B on this one...maybe it has to do with the fact the girls put more value into moments like that, than guys do?

I'm a woman and I'm horrible at dates. I have forgotten my husbands birthday and when people ask me one of my 3 childrens' birhthday I have to pause and think really hard.
