I'm getting married in late August. Our colors are periwinkle and silver. We are also planning a small outdoor ceremony in a gazebo in a park. We are doing silk arrangments and i'm trying to figure out what flowers would compliment each other and mixing them with the garland for the gazebo (haven't figured that out yet), what to do with the bouquets, and how to incorporated the styles into the coursages and boutineers. I really don't want roses, so I'm trying to come up with something unique. Suggestions?

As infuriating as the amnesty rallies are, does anyone know of a plan outlining how we will actually round up twelve to fifteen million people? I would love to see current legislation enforced but am not sure how we would go about it? Any ideas? Any politicians with a plan not based on political rhetoric?

As Americans, when we stand in line for anything,
we expect others to respect the fact we shouldn't have
to tolerate people jumping to the front of the line.
The same applies to people who have waited for years
to come into our country legally, they and we
shouldn't have to tolerate those who pay a couple of
thousand dollars or less to be smuggled into our
country and then are given the benefits, jobs and
services provided to American citizens. How can you
justify this?

im new to online shopping and just started to buy on ebay.. a friend told me that next year when i go do my taxes i would have too pay cause you don't pay tax.. i assume this only apply for ebay shopping cause i don't pay sale taxes but my other online purchases i have made i had to pay sale taxes... so could someone please tell me how this all works out.

I am 19 (kinda young) and work full-time at an office making good money and have excellent health insurance. I live with my boyfriend, who makes almost as much as I do, so I can't afford to not have a job. Well I've been here for just over 3months and I am 10 weeks pregnant (just found out April 2), so my due date is Nov. 27. How and when should I tell my boss that I'm pregnant? What determines if my job is worth holding for me? Can they still let me back after 2 or 3 weeks after the babys born (I plan I using my 40 hrs vacation and 40 hrs personal time for 2 of those weeks)? I'm afraid I'll be discriminated cuz my boss always talks about how everyone in our department is young enough to be her kids and everyone here treats us (our department consists of 19-22 year olds) as if we are kids. WHAT DO I DO? I NEED THIS JOB AND INSURANCE.

Both sides of this pro-life/pro-choice debate have pretty much forced themselves into two polar opposite camps.

The pro-lifers are committed to pushing 100% abstinence, no contraceptives, shame and fear of sin and so on. Abstinence doesn't work as a policy. Studies show kids in abstinence classes have premarital sex at the same ratio as other kids, possibly even higher. You can't expect people to live like monks and nuns, not even monks and nuns.

The pro-choice side has a more accepting view of allowing people to be humans. Contraceptives, sex ed for teens, prenatal counseling for pregnant moms and so on. But they're 100% in favor of abortion on demand, and focus on that more than they should have to.

I think it's a good idea to open a counseling center somewhere that'd give information on contraceptives, sex ed for teens, prenatal counseling for pregnant moms and so on AND be pro life, helping expectant mothers find adopting couples and so on.

Anyone think it might work?

Do you really think America would have gone to all the trouble to topple Iraq's leader had it not been for Iraq's oil? Really, honestly. Iraq is the second or third world's oil producing power in the world. I hope I am wrong!!!! We have paid a heavy price in trying to bring democracy to Iraq. What will we gain in the end should we succeed? Perhaps this is the deeper question.

My husband just got word today that he is going to PCS to korea in september. We didn't see this coming at all..which is a very long story but we really didn't see it coming at all. We were supposed to be going to Texas.....long story short.

Is there anything we can do? Our first child is going to be born on thursday (im being induced). Is there ANYTHING AT ALL that we can do to keep him here? We would much rather be at ANY base in the US. He knew he was going ot be going to iraq in december if we moved to texas. So..hes ok with that. But we really just dont want him to go to korea.


any advice AT ALL on what we can do to get them changed would be amazing. Thanks in advance. and please..no stupid answers....
