This guy Jedi is trying to discredit the entire Bible by citing 1Kings 7:23:
23 He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it. (NIV)

Hiram's next project was to make the Sea—an immense round basin of cast metal fifteen feet in diameter, seven and a half feet tall, and forty-five feet in circumference. (The Message)

An NIV footnote says the measurements are "about 15 feet (about 4.5 meters)" and "about 45 feet (about 13.5 meters)"--"about", not "exactly".

Mathematically, however, Jedi has a point. Using a computer calculator, when I multiply 15 by a form of 3.1415926535897932384626433832... , I come up with a number starting with 47, such as 47.1225 or 47.123889803835. Ideally, the Bible should have said 47 feet, or 31 cubits. (Ten times 3.1415..., of course, would be 31.415..., the same numbers with the decimal point moved one space.)

Last night was prom I feel like I ruined everything. I didn't eat much at the dinner that was very expensive, I don't dance, and idk I just know he was disappointed. I really love him. I've never felt this way before. We're best friends and we like eachother and I feel like he doesn't want to be with me anymore or something. I just feel really guilty. As soon as I got home I started crying. And I apologized to him multiple times. He says he had fun but the fact that he didn't have any fun with me makes me feel horrible. Please help.

To prepare anatase TiO2, I have neutralized aqueous Titanium sulphate solution to 4M sodium hydroxide solution, gradually blue tint and finally milk-white sol observed.

Often reported that, milk-white sol or slurry observed but no explanation for that. Could you explain the reason for milk-white colour why?

As usual its impossible to get hold of someone at google! My site the baldchemist is registered with adsense. The past three days the reports show only one visit!
Now I know some wag will say that perhaps my site isn't interesting and thats ok but I know at least twenty people have visited cause I asked them to. to enable me to check.
Any answers please. Or shall I just get rid of adsense?

Today while at the grocery store I was putting my bags in the car. Nearby, an elderly man was sitting in his car playing Hank Williams and the volume turned up. After loading, I pushed the cart to the lot cart rack. Upon return to my car, I saw a woman and her young girl. About then Hank hit one of those long nasal twangs. The woman and young girl began to laugh and imitate the sound. I thought to myself, yes some music was funny when I was younger. Then rap and hip-hop came to mind. I do not even consider rap as music. I do not laugh at rap or imitate it. Rap is disgusting to me.

To each his own do you think?

I am getting ready to replace my standard tub with a Kohler whirlpool tub. The old tub is 60" X 30", the new is 60" X 32". It is in an alcove with concrete block on two sides. My question is, how is the best way to connect the drain kit. The instructions say mount the overflow and the drain assembly to the tub, then set the tub, so the down tube on the tub inserts into the trap in the ground. How can I tighten or adjust the connection after the tub is in. No access due to CBS block walls. There is only one access panel on the tub, but it is on the other end for motor access.
I was thinking maybe installing the drain kit to the trap first, setting the tub, then connecting the overflow and tub drain from inside the tub. Any suggestions?

I'm 14, about 5'3, 130 pounds and size 5/7. I want to lose 10 pounds and be 120 pounds...and try to get into a 3/5 jeans. Where have all the dreamers, the ones that dreamed of a better world and inspired others to create it?

All we seem to have is far right or far left wing interests that ish to shape the world into thier monoform image. I ask this question due to the fact that I heard what could be the most idiotic thing that I have ever heard yesterday. It was that a group of people honestly wish to stop Shrek 3 from showing in theaters due to the fact that 'Shrek obviously eats too much fatty foods, hence the reason why he is so large'. He is an ogre, that is the way that he is supposed to be!

So my question is again, where are the dreamers who dreamed of a better world, have they been killed off or are they just not yelling loader than the fray?
