Last night was prom I feel like I ruined everything. I didn't eat much at the dinner that was very expensive, I don't dance, and idk I just know he was disappointed. I really love him. I've never felt this way before. We're best friends and we like eachother and I feel like he doesn't want to be with me anymore or something. I just feel really guilty. As soon as I got home I started crying. And I apologized to him multiple times. He says he had fun but the fact that he didn't have any fun with me makes me feel horrible. Please help.

I guess MY question to you is ... WHY didnt YOU have any fun?? Usually its the GIRL who loves this type of thing! Did you not like your dinner?? Why do you not dance??

He probably WAS disappointed b/c he asked you to HIS prom in hopes that the two of you would have a great time and it sounds like you kind of "killed" the mood! Were you in a bad mood or did you not feel good??

Why did you even go if you really didnt want to be there??

Now.. having said all that (and I really hope you dont take it the wrong way).... I wouldnt worry too much about it! Sure, he was disappointed and probably "saw" the whole night going a little bit better in his mind.. but it also sounds like he likes you and cares about you (or he wouldnt have asked you to go in the first place!) so ONE bad night isnt going to change all of that!!

What I would do is give him a call and APOLOGIZE for last night. Tell him that you were really glad that he asked you to go to prom w/ him and that you are SORRY that you werent the "most fun." Tell him WHY you were acting like were and ask if there is something that you can do to make it up to him (like take him to an amusement park or out to dinner.. YOUR TREAT!). If YOU go to him FIRST and he KNOWS how bad you feel it will help things quite a bit!!

Right now he is probably wondering what HE did/said wrong and what HE couldve done to make YOUR night better!! He is more then likely having the same concerns and doubts as you are!! So.. go to him!!

Good luck and I hope you have more fun at your next dance!

Bad dances really can have a tendency to ruin relationships so it IS a possibilty that it did. But if you guys are that good of friends it shouldn't affect it that much. Maybe a little awkwardness in the beginning but you guys will get over it. Just don't make it awkward and YOU have to be the one that helps move past the bad dance.

Not eating and not dancing is not enough to ruin the prom. Did you not have fun? He could probably tell you didn't and was upset. He may have thought he was the reason you didn't have a good time. You need to call him.

He would not have a automobile because of the fact his father and mom can no longer discover the money for to purchase him one..what's the undertaking with that? no longer somewhat everyone seems to be wealthy such as you. He did no longer pass to promenade because of the fact he did no longer have funds. ok, nicely..the two one among you ought to no longer discover the money for it. He has know-how of weaponry. this is not any longer an obsession in any respect. Being ignorant or uninformed would not recommend obsessive you are able to examine up on what obsessive means. and perchance he basically needs to pass to duke.. he's possesive because of the fact he positioned an arm around you... are you an fool? i think of he's the single which's in a bad relationship considering you look as though a bitchy fool.

well. first of all . i hated dancing and never danced at dancing or homecoming or anything. and ive been dating this guy i really like for over a year and i messed things up at homecoming by not dancing. but i went to a spring fling and danced. and had a great time. relax. He will get over it.
just make it up to him.
next time, try ordering an appetizer, its not too expensive and its not too big.
=) goodluck.

You are overanalysing and overreacting. Calm down and quit talking about it. If your relationship is over because of one bad evening, there wasn't much of a relationship to begin with.

Awww, im sure he was just having a bad day.
You can't blame yourself is he's so stubborn. And he probably had something else on his mind. Just watch everything will go back to normal soon

Give it a chance to heal.
It may have been excitement , and not every body is a good dancer.
You can't undo it, so don't try and don't punish yourself.
. Just give it a chance to heal. it will.
