Uhm, I don't know if you people realize this, but Aleka isn't really that "out there". It's just like "Alexa".

I like it, but when I first saw it I thought it said Abeka, which is a school curriculum and I basically almost freaked out, and then I pronounced it A-leek-a and that didn't do it for me either... However Aleka is really cute. I like it, what are you thinking of for middle names?

Aleka, that's Greek. I'm Greek, and I think it's nice. Even though Alekos for a boy is better. Aleka isn't bad at all. They can call her Leka in school, etc. Don't listen to everyone else, they just can't appreciate Greek names, everyone wants to name their kids Samantha and Jessica, bring out an unusual name, which in Greece is not unusual at all and they say it's ridiculous. Use it, and congratulations on Aleka!

I like anything unique... Aleka sounds good to me though. Reminded me of movies like Too Fast Too Furious & Triple X... nice name for characters for movies like that :P

I think it's a very beautiful name. Although beautiful she might not appreciate such a unique name. Instead make it her middle name or something.
