yet aren't willing to lead by example by giving up most of their comforts to help those in need? Like some of the answerers on this link.

Some of them don't need all that money....or such a nice big house, or the extra vehicles to survive while others suffer! If they preach it, they should donate all that they don't need to get by with, becase they just look like hypocrites, trying to be humanitarians! Seems to me the only ones pushing for socialism are the ones that need it, the lower class; or the ones that live good comfortable lives and wouldn't feel the tax burden that welfare and other social programs put on the middle class, they do nothing but preach so as to sound like good, giving, compassionate wealthy people! Not donating most of their excess wealth, basically makes them fiscally conservative. Which is the right choice btw! Socialism and wealth redistribution is a joke!

I failed a major english exam a few years back. Till today, I am appalled as to how come I fail it.

Honestly, I do not think that i am poor in english. I had chat with caucasians. I can understand english jokes. I have no problem writing.

Furthermore, I am still exposing myself to the language even it is not my mother tongue.

However, my qualification will always state that I fail my english. Honestly, do you guys feel that someone is poor in a language just because he/she failed the exam?

Personally, language to me cannot be gauge by the examination. Through exposure, we are improving ourselves as we grow. How can an exam from one point in life determines my language skill for life?

oh i hope somebody can help me!! i saw a skunk outside tonight..well i was just sitting at my computer and i smelled this blood curdling odor!!! the skunk sprayed my home! my front door! my window! the entire front of my home!!!! what can i do to get rid of this smell?? will it go away on its own?? it raining outside but its so powerful in scent that i highly doubt its going to go away on its own! what made this skunk spray my home?? what can i do to get rid of this smell? is this smell harmful?? please help me get rid of this smell i have company coming over tomorrow! i will love u so much if u can help!

Follow up to the "back up" question. My boss asks me about problems with my staff. How much should I tell him about their problems? My boss doesn't seem to have much confidence in my ability to deal with problems. If I don't mention things that I have dealt with, he hears about it through the grapevine or from HR. Then I still get in trouble with my boss who always is second guessing my decisions. So, for managers: do you keep quiet and just deal with things, or can you talk about staffing issues without it coming back to haunt you? Another problem I have is my boss going directly to my employees to deal with their problems without telling me. Then I get heat for not dealing with stuff that I didn' even know about. When I do follow through on my boss' suggestions on resolving staff issues, things *always* get worse, or insubordination, more complaints, more bad attitude, etc. This is like a downward spiral to hell.

I went to band camp today thinking I was going to play bass drum like I wanted to, because I wanted to stay away from keyboard percussion because it quite literally drives me insane. I always feel like dying when all the high school kids around me are perfect at playing all these exercises and scales and I CANNOT do it. I have tried being patient. It failed. But I was put back in the pit (marching band) and have to play keyboard percussion again. So I was trying really hard and in the middle of it, I just completely broke down and cried. And I never cry in public, especially in front of fifteen percussionists and a hot bass player. I hate intimidation, and that's why I wanted bass drum so badly because I thought I was good at it, but apparently I'm "not ready for it." I've never been a strong person. I'm unbelievably weak, actually. I also suffer from serious depression, so I think I'm going to go literally insane soon if I don't figure something out. Does anyone know what I should do?

I see myself doing that...sad to say..I used to be rather annoyed with anyone not in my religion...but Now I find myself respecting some alot more. I realize and learned from being here..Do you find yourself doing that? or the opposite?
