My father died when I was 9, leaving life insurance money to me in trust of my grandmother until I was 25 years old.Well, I am 24 now, will be 25 in Jan., and I am going to want my money when I turn 25. Let me say over the past 15 years, my grandparents have not kept in contact with me. I have called them maybe 5 times, and went to their house unannounced once. I have asked about it, and she said well all she will have to do is write a check. I want to be able to see finiancial statements, because I feel as though I am entitled to all interest earned. I do not think that they should keep any of my money, but I have a feeling that this is what they will try to do. How do I go about doing this delicately?

i have a huge 4-5 hour long test and they dont let you go to the bathroom so i want to wear a tampon and a pad. but i dont wear tampons and i dont wanna tell my mom i want to start. do u think i should take one of hers and try it out at school so she dont know and if i like it i'll tell her i want to wear them? i know how to put them in and about tss.

I recently got 3 little goldfish for my brother and today I noticed that one of them is staying/floating in the center of the tank in a vertical position, his/her head is facing the bottom of the tank. It stays like that for a while and then it swims all around the tank. Its fins are moving and it is still breathing, but is it about to die? Thanks in advance...

Hi,
Can you guys please suggest some alternatives for an amplifier? - saving money is my most important criteria. Obviously, i will have to ask a electrical technician/ technologist as well, but can you please give me some ideas to approach them with.

I am in the process of building a simple electronic device to produce sound. I am trying to save as much money as possible.

I am using a piezoelectric ceramic disc as a transducer. This probably won't cost me more that $100, even from a good company.

The other part of this device is an amplifier. From what i understand at the moment about piezo, i should be able to use a simple linear amplifier - still have to check this to be sure. I understand that by not using a high quality amplifier specially designed for piezo, i may experience some noise and distortion near maximum output, however in the case of the device i am building this is acceptable. By avoiding a purpose built lab amp, i should save a lot of money (thousands).

Here's the question: 2x^2 - 8 = 0 I'm suppose to find the zeros of the parabola. When I factored it I got 2(x-2)(x+2) so i'm guessing the zeros are +2 & -2 but for some reason my book says the zeros are 0 & 4....so can some one help me, tell me if i did it wrong or maybe my book was wrong? thanks alot.

Yesterday I came back from a school field trip in DC and during my time there a friendship between one of my (ex)friends ended. She was getting all mad at me for no reason and began yelling at me because I'm on a diet. Anyways, ever since then my self-esteem is at the lowest it's ever been. Since our friendship ended, I can't stop crying and there are "voices" inside of my head that keep telling me that I'm fat, ugly, stupid, etc. and the images of people who have criticized me in the past won't escape in my mind. I've been getting the urge to cut so badly. I know you're all going to say that I should talk to a counselor, but trust me..it DOES not work...I've been to one before and have stopped seeing her (thank God). I just don't know what do with myself anymore, and I feel so hopeless and lost and I don't know if I'll ever make it through anything anymore. Is there any way for this to all go away? Because I honestly hate every second of this and want it to stop...
