How do you ripen a green cantalope quickly?

Bought it too green.

Yep, I'd try the brown paper bag and banana trick. Leave it on the counter. It might take a couple of days. Do not refrigerate it as that will only retard the ripening process.

I dont know about cantaloupes but I heard that to ripen avocadoes you should put them in a brown paper bag with a banana. Some gas is released from the banana and it ripens the avocado but dont know if it'll work the same for u. Always worth a try tho i guess.
