I'm an American and I worked abroad in Ireland. Dublin is probably the hardest city to find a job in. I'd go for a town outside of Dublin. Try the hotel industry, they usually take people with no experience to work at the front desk and to do room service, or housekeeping. And you get free meals, and maybe even free lodgings. But be forewarned, I don't know if you've worked in Ireland before, but employers aren't as kind to their employees.

Here some sites for looking for jobs in Ireland.
If you can use an address of a friend etc who is already in Ireland, you'll get way better response rate.

You should leave there and come to America. There are lots of jobs here.
