it happend to me more than once. today i went to buy some stuff nd a guy insulted me for no reason in the street. im from kuwait , i study in virginia and i cover my hair because my believes. i dont care what people think of me. each person have his own believes. i know that not all of the americans are like that becaue i met so many nice people here they all respect me and love so much . but i dont know how to deal with those who insults me for no reason. i cried all day. i dont want these things affect my life. i respect everyone and if someone have a reason to hate me i would respect him but i dont want anyone to bother me like that.

I am a believer in God. My husband & I are separated. We haven't been married long. I've slipped & so has my husband. When I left & called my husband asking him did he want to work it out, he said do what I was going to do implying that he knew I was going to file for a divorce this time. I never said that I was going to file for a divorce. He then said that he would go to counseling, but I can't get him to answer the phone. I am now pregnant with our first child. I've left before & with him being so cold this time, still viewing porn from time to time, I just don't know where his heart is. He says that I always tear him down, but I don't. He says he thinks that he's perfect. He is very arrogant during these times. He says I just want an escape to get out of the marriage & it crushes me. I left because I can't get the proper rest I need & he's been very inconsistent. I love my husband & when he's sweet, it's unreal. How long will God take to answer me? I am hurt.

the collar (the part that goes over the mouth) of my snowboard jacket smells really bad from being wet all the time, and possibily from my spit.

i tried febreeze, that just made it smell like febreeze + the wet smell.
I dont want to use detergent on the whole jacket cuz i remember you are not suppose to because it would cut ruin the waterproofing.
So i used detergent on just the collar then rinsed it, but the weird smell still lingers.

is there any natural stuff i can use? like lemon mixed with water or something..........

also, if anyone know how to get rid of the smell of wet snowboard boot liners, please let me know.

All joking aside, I think something is wrong with me. I've been feeling really down lately ever since I was denied (for the 3rd time) for financial aid and I have no way of getting a job which means I have no income.

Aside from that I've been talking to this guy for 4 months and he lead me on to believe that a relationship was possible. I'm african-american and so is he. The reason why I bring this up is because his gf is hispanic and that's even more insulting to me.

I'm 19 and he's 17.

My brother is headed to Iraq this June. It will be his third time going over. Because he recently split from his wife my mom must travel over to North Carolina to house sit which means I'll be here in California with just my father, and my sisters (one is 30 & the other is 17). This is scaring me.

My life at this point is way too much and I don't see any escape from misery. I feel like I'm slipping into the abyss. It's been this way since Dec. 2005.

What can I do to get my old self back?

We know that light (photons) has a specific velocity, so does sound waves, and other forms of radiation like X Rays,, gamma rays, etc,, What do you think decides these velocities? .. All of the above are some form of radiation or transmission of energy in some form or another, so at the quantum level (as far as I know) they are not composed of particles that vary significantly in mass..

This being the case, what factor decides that light should have the higher velocity than others?... if this is known, is it possible to engineer a form of radiation that exceeds the speed of light?
