i dont why some people here in Yahoo answers are rude.. like for example when a person wants to know other peoples opinion.. they would answer it with sarcasm, some with insult.. i mean com'on guys.. not all people who asked for opinion here are dumb.. some people just want learn more through your opinions.. but on the other hand most people here are all nice and smart. im glad..

Mary Tillman testified about this today:
.Kauzlarich, now a battalion commanding officer at Fort Riley in Kansas, further suggested the Tillman family's unhappiness with the findings of past investigations might be because of the absence of a Christian faith in their lives.

In an interview with ESPN.com, Kauzlarich said: "When you die, I mean, there is supposedly a better life, right? Well, if you are an atheist and you don't believe in anything, if you die, what is there to go to? Nothing. You are worm dirt. So for their son to die for nothing, and now he is no more — that is pretty hard to get your head around that. So I don't know how an atheist thinks. I can only imagine that that would be pretty tough."

Asked by ESPN.com whether the Tillmans' religious beliefs are a factor in the ongoing investigation, Kauzlarich said, "I think so. There is not a whole lot of trust in the system or faith in the system [by the Tillmans]. So that is my personal opinion, knowing what I know.

Ok so i had my "period" like a day ago and it lasted only for three or two days (usually lasts like 5 or 6 days) and today my underwear had like this brown redish spot and when i cleaned myself i know its nasty but this brown redish gooey thing came out it was sooooooooo nasty it wasnt that big big but i want to know if that could be a pregnancy sign!

Hi all

We have a beautiful month old lab who has chewed her way through 4 beds. Luckily she hasnt chewed anything else and is generally quite well behaved. Its just the mattresses that we put in her kennel she has taken a liking to. She has lots of chew toys and we give her marrow bones to chew on as well.

Does anybody have any tips for something I could put on the bed to stop her chewing it - but not put her off sleeping on it.

You see, right now as a Christian, I have the power of "Free Will". Atheists argue that it is beyond moronic to not put teenagers on birth control or at least load them up with condoms because when it comes down to it, they will not be able to stop themselves. In other words - there is no free will, just force of nature. I mean, we all are just really smart monkeys, right?

Here's the problem - it is a proven statistical fact that birth control pills and condoms are not 100% effective, so when I inevitably succomb to the urge to do it like they do on the Discovery Channel, am I then obligated to kill the unborn child?

Just wondering.

Speakers A and B are vibrating in phase. They are directly facing each other, are 8.2 m apart, and are each playing a 71.0 Hz tone. The speed of sound is 343 m/s. On the line between the speakers there are three points where constructive interference occurs. What are the distances of these three points from speaker A?

=?m (nearest)
=?m (middle)
=?m (farthest)

I am having a hard time getting the answer. I worked the problem multiple times. For the other answers, I am having the same problem. for my first distance I got the 343/71.0 = 4.83. Then 8.2 - 2x= m 4.83 then I divided that by 2 and got 3.9 - x = m(2.3135)
for the speaker thats farthest away I know you do the length that they are apart, 8.2, minus your nearest distance you got for part A

I just cannot get the correct answer..... grrrrr.....

My mom has been suffering from R. arthritis since the past 18 years. In the earlier years the pain and symptoms were not very grave. she was taking medicines like Voveron sr, Shellcal, Methotrexate,etc. Her disease has become active since the past 6-7 yrs, so much so that even doing the most basic daily chores have become very painful. Her doctor prescibed Arava(20 mg)(Cleft) but her liver seems to be rejecting the drug. the improvement in the pain and inflammation was magical with this drug but after 1- 1&1/2 months of its usage, her SGPT/SGOT shooted upto 120/130. So she had to stop its intake and consequently her state is back to worse. Now the doctor has advised that there is no way other than taking the drug(although he has prescribed 10mg daily instead of 20mg) and monitor the liver counts every 10 days and then vary its dosage accordingly.Her ESR is 99 presently.
I want to know whether this is the only way out for her and whether the doctor's assessment is correct.Thankyou!

all the preg tests came out negative.it's been 7 - 9 weeks. blood test came hCg less than 2 after 13-15 days after possible conception. What could this be?

I am one of Hughes students, and I was surprised to see this in an email one of my friends sent me. I never saw her as someone who would do this, rather, just as a teacher. Although I've accepted the fact that this happened, I still need answers.

Let's use an example for clarity.
Say you buy 100 shares of XYZ stock at $10 for $1000.
Six month later you buy another 50 shares of XYZ at $15, or $750 for this trade.
Another six month later you sell 75 shares of XYZ at $20 and receive $1500 for this trade. (After this you still have 75 shares left.)

Ignoring commissions, how much capital gain/profit do you report on that sale of 75 shares?
How much tax might you pay on that sale if you're already at the maximum tax bracket in your state?
