I live with my 24 year old daughter and her 7 year old. The issue is housework, or the lack of it. I have a nice home that I have spent a lot of time, effort and money decorating. It tears me up to see the kitchen a disaster, clutter everywhere, the upstairs hallway has clothes all over it, can't get into the laundry room because of the pile of clothes. She has put STUFF into my sewing room and I can hardly walk in there. Her dog (though I had told her I didn't want a dog here) has torn up the backyard that was nicely landscaped, has just recently torn up the drip system so the plants are going to die. I just don't know what to do. I ask her, I reason with her, I argue with her, I get angry and yell at her. She says she'll do it... and never does. Or she does straighten up (some) and a week later it's back where it was. I work full time, pay the bills. Her husband is deployed in the Army and she is home all day. I just don't know how to get this to stop and I feel STUCK!

My fiance posted this question for me, but i felt i needed to explain why i have this question in order to get a better answer than the ones he got.
I guess i am confused. I am Christian but am very liberal in my beliefs. I believe that the bible is a group of metaphorical stories to guide us through life. I dont take it 100% literally but i do think it is important and meaningful. That said, i dont understand how religous leaders have managed to avoid explaining why dinosaurs are "missing" from the story of the creation of the world. If God created the world in 7 days and goes from nothing all the way to mankind...and we know that man was not alive when dinos ruled the world, how does that work? Dinos were millions of years ago and there are bones and factual evidence proving the time frame. I am just curious i guess. I have my theories but welcome your thoughts!

I fart more then 20 times a day and I'm a highschool student so its pretty embarrising and my mind is on it all day and i cant hear it but other people may and i also dont smell it but people act weird around me. The situation is very bad I've taken beano Gas-x and any other gas pill in the store you could think of. How do i stop and what should i do about this?

I want to find an easy way to give away a cheesecake without worrying about getting my metal springform base back. I thought of putting a cardboard round in the bottom, but I don't know if you can bake on that, or should I just use a parchment round? Or do you have a better suggestion?

We've been to family court already and awarded joint legal/joint physical but mom wasnt working at time so she was given more time with our baby. We agreed in mediation for me to have all weekends and one night a week and she stipulated she 'may' agree to more time when she became employed. Shes been employed for months now, refuses to go back to mediation, late and refuses to come to my location for the exchanges, lives in a drug & prostitute infested area of Las Vegas and has ignored every attempt on my part to co-parent. She came up dirty on an initial drug test but was given a slap on the wrist by the judge and warned if any further use, it wouldn't be tolerated. She has also enrolled child in 2 seperate day care centers w/out my involvement when it was also agreed/ordered in mediation. She just seems to get away with everything while I get stuck paying my atty and not seeing results. Any advice??

I was 10 days late this month on rent and the next thing I know, I get a call from my parents at 7:45am ON A WEEKEND from my mom. She and my step dad were FREAKING OUT because she said that my landlord told them that I was FIVE MONTHS BEHIND ON RENT!!! I have receipts to PROVE this isn't REMOTELY true and as soon as my mom got on the phone with the owner of the building, he confirmed that the landlord LIED!

Since my name is the only one on the lease and my parents are just emergency contacts, can I sue my landlord for something like invasion of privacy or harrassment? Can I sue at all? I'm just livid!
