i had lost a friend in the VT incident..Brian Bluhm...(r.i.p. always). I went to school with his sister in the 7th and 8th grade..and we(his sis and i) are still friends till this day (i'm 23 now). We all would hang out everyday and laugh at all these stupid jokes, and just share lots of good memories about when we were kids. I cannot believe this unfortunate event happened...why the hell would someone so sick and twisted want to take away something so precious as life from so many innocent people??? If he wanted to kill someone...he should have killed himself, and not all those other people. We really need to take a good look and focus on how important life truley is...this is a sick sad world we are living in today...there is way too much violence going on, too much war, too much hate. Don't waste your life by being hatefull to yourself and everyone around you...i don't even know if that made any sense, i am so upset, hurt and angry that i lost my best friend, and everyone else had to suffer because of that nut case.(if it didn't make any sense i am sorry, please let me know if it makes sense as i can't focus right now, i am depressed i lost my friend). I have a little philosophy on life.....

"If you only had one day to live, how would you
spend it? Would you smile or frown? watch the
sunrise or watch t.v.? talk a walk or take a nap?
say i love you or show you don't care? Consider this....
You aren't guaranteed tomorrow so treasure this day
as if its not your last, but the best day you will ever own."

The massacre at VA Tech was extremely unfortunate and I give my deepest sympathy to anyone that lost a family member or friend.

As for my feelings about it, if I were one of the many that lost a family member to that sick bast*rd, he should be happy he's dead because I'd do a lot more than sink three bullets in him., regardless of his mental illness.

And about that mental illness... The shooter was previously in therapy for it and they chose to keep it private and allow him to go out into the harsh world treated as a normal person. How the hell can you not see that there's something wrong with a person like that and they need special help. He obsessed over a girl and murdered her first because she wasn't interested in him or his stalking habit. I'm very interested in Psychology and I plan on pursuing a career in it, but the law needs to do something about that privacy policy under certain circumstances. Yes, if someone's depressive keep it private. If someone can't get over the loss of someone keep it private. If someone has a learning disability keep it private. BUT DO NOT KEEP A PERSON'S HATEFUL, ANGRY, JEALOUS PERSONALITY PRIVATE! Don't alert the media about the individual, but at least have authorities keep an eye on him.

It sickens me. Society sickens me. I'm sorry to anyone that has to face this tragedy. I can only imagine the feelings you're undergoing after it. I hope society will learn from this and keep a better eye on people with personality symtoms similar to the VT killer's.

It has happened before, and it will happen again unfortunately. (And I hope I'm wrong.) But in the mean time, let's not forget our troops in Iraq, where we have lost too many of already.
