A uniform rod of mass 1.1 kg and length 46 cm is constrained to rotate on an axis about its center. An unknown uniform torque is applied to the rod as it rotates through .28 radians from rest, which requires .8 seconds. The applied torque is then removed and, coasting only under the influence of friction, the rod comes to rest after rotating through 1.6 radians, which requires 5 seconds.
• Determine the angular acceleration of the moving rod before and after the torque is applied.
• Determine the net torque for each phase of the motion.
• What is the applied torque?
• How much work is done by the net torque, by the applied torque and by friction during the first phase of motion?

As a political statement and a response to how liberals are above the law, I am refusing to wear my seat belt. If I get ticketed I'm willing challenge these seat belt laws all the way up to the supreme court. Besides, seat belts haven't consistently been proven to reduce injury or death. when will liberals learn that a nanny state isn't the best thing. As George W. Bush so eloquently put it in the 2000 campaign, "He (Al gore and the liberals) trusts government; I trust the people." God bless the president.

Hi, my 98 MGF has the special 16" CUP alloys (from the racing series), one of them has been buckled slightly by the previous owner, it's fine (passed the MOT easy) but I'd like to get another to get it back to it's best.

Does anyone know where on earth I can get one? It's proved easier to find hens teeth than one of these rims.

Thanks

So much emphsis is on the NT that it seems the OT is put on the back burner. You always see or hear things about the NT. Scholars have put dates and possible authors to the gospels of the NT but what about the OT. Who were the authors and when were they written?

Die Hard 4 has been a long time coming and although Spidey3 looks great I personally think there are too many villians in it...Venom, Sandman and The Hob Goblin... I think the producers are trying to cram as many characters in as they can to score points

Some say morning is the best time for working out.

Some say working out in the morning (a few hours after waking up) would cause backpain as time passes by. And this sounds more factual than the first statement.

I would like to know if it is safe to Pilates in the morning.
