They know they can't win if most people vote, so they will discourage voting and make it harder to vote. Some (Greg Palast) think this republican strategy is behind the US attorney firings.

If it is true, as alleged, that the US attorneys were being pressured to prosecute Democrats for voter fraud and not prosecute Republicans, then we have to focus attention not only on the fired prosecutors but also on the US attorneys who didn’t get fired. Did they get to keep their jobs because they caved to the political pressure? I think it’s our responsibility as citizens to find out what is going on in our own districts. This kind of political manipulation could not only discourage voting but it can leave voter fraud by Republicans without scrutiny and can thereby influence future elections. I think the timing of those firings was not coincidental. They were meant to send a message.

If the Republicans were trying to suppress the vote by replacing eight US attorneys, then what was Clinton's motivation behind firing 93 of them? Your problem is you want people to vote illegally, and republicans want only those who are legal to vote to exercise that right.

The best thing to do is vote, and maybe volunteer to help people vote. The main reason why Republicans use so much negative advertising is that they want the public to be disillusioned with the voting process and stay home.

The only voting that would be surpressed is all of the illegal immigrants that you libs have managed to add to your rolls, and all the dead people who mysteriously showed up as registered Democrats in Chicago last time around.

Here's a news flash for you lib; dead people and illegal immigrants are not allowed to vote. Is there any part of that you don't understand?

Given the crop of likely candidates from the Democrats and Republicans, it seems to me they are both part of a consipiracy to suppress voting. I certainly don't see a reason I should waste my time picking the prettier of a pair of twins.

What voter suppression are you talking about?

Is it where they are trying to stop Democrats from allowing felons you aren't allowed to vote do so?

Or is it where they are trying to stop Democrats from using illegal immigrants from voting?

Both groups support Democrats. The hand-out party of America.

All the dems have to do to stop the gains made by republican suppression is increase their use of voter fraud. Both parties are corrupt.

why does it matter? the ones that win are the ones who know who the hell the mysterious "electoral college" is and can buy THEIR votes.
