Using factoring, not sure how to break down this equation. i know that the GCF is 9 so it becomes; 9(1)+(-1)(1y^4). What next?

9(1-y^2)(1+y^2)
9(1-y)(1+y)(1+y^2)

9 - 9y^4
= 9(1- y^4)
=9(1 + y^2)(1 - y^2)
=9(1 + y^2)(1 + y)(1 - y)
