I have a 96 Mustang GT that I would like to have the engine replaced on. I have already purchased a remanufactured long block to install. My question is, what is a reasonable expectation for the cost of installation? I know I might need additional parts or other items, but how much should I be looking for on the installation quote? I'm in Houston, TX. Thanks.

I watch the TV, read the newspapers and read some of things on here and I can't help but think that there is an incredible amount of hosility amongst fellow Americans. Most of it seems to be based on many things from race, money, political belief - democrat or republican why they hatred?

Afterall you guys supposedly live in the best country in the world, free to do pretty much as you please. Surely you should be celibrating your diversity and not getting so negative with each other.

I've noticed that whenever the question of universal health insurance comes up the usual answers are, 'socilism' or 'Canada'. Health insurance is a totally different thing than 'health care'. Private, or employer based health insurance leaves a massive number of Americans uninsured. As we all eventually pay for the uninsured anyway, why not charge everyone something instead of charging a lot of people nothing and everyone else a lot more?

I'm just asking & wondering

2007-04-22 04:05:13 · 22 answers · asked by Ashley J 4 in Non-Alcoholic Drinks

I am wondering how much say a father these days has in their child's life. My ex wants a say in if my child should have a cell phone that I am paying for and her personal hygiene matters. His mother also wants a say in what she wears and what classes she takes at school.

I wanted to have a strong voice in her life as her mother but could not really have that.

My ex was a mama's boy in my opinion and constantly asked his mother her opinion on things concerning our child. She had a say in what camps she attended in the summer also. She used to make comments that my daughter was her "daughter" and that I could not "make her hair."

My ex also get very upset with me when I questioned him sharing her report card with his mother. I said that each thing in her life does not have to be shared with her grandmother.

Is this normal?

I asked 2 questions regarding reproductive choice and the overwhelming majority of responses were it is a personal choice *until one needs public money to feed/raise the child.*
Question 1: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsQb7ic0DsmtFwKEUebXPGjsy6IX?qid=20070421191448AAbPf9l
Question 2:

If people feel that reproductive choices are so personal, then why do they get in an uproar about abortion? Isn’t abortion simply one more reproductive choice? For all you logicians out there:
Reproductive choice = Personal decision
Abortion = Reproductive choice
THERFORE:
Abortion = Personal choice

Before you answer, think about how many abortions are done to prevent a child from being born to a woman who does not have the financial resources to support it.
If it is a personal choice only until the need for government assistance, then are you saying a pregnant woman in poverty should be *required* to have an abortion to avoid having yet another person grow up on the welfare system? Please explain.

If you commented on childbearing in relation to the need for public assistance in my previous question, I want to hear from you on this.

A couple of facts to help you with your answer:
89% of abortions are done prior to the 12th week of gestation, when the pregnancy is in the EMBRYO stage, and clearly would not survive outside the womb.

48% of all abortions in America are given to women with incomes less than $30,000.
