Personally I havent seen a 12 volt battery charger that didnt have a 6 volt setting....Take a good look at the selector dial....There should be a slow charge, and six volt setting...

Only if you move the little selector switch on the charger to "6 volt"...using 12 volts will only heat the battery, possibly cause an explosion...

No. The battery would boil and possibly explode due to the hydrogen gas created. However if you had 2 6 volt battery's in series you could charge them together.

Only if you're looking for drama, which you will get when the acid in the battery begins to boil and the fire starts. Unless of course the circuit breaker on the charger shuts it down first., then nothing will happen.
Remember, 9-1-1 is the number.

It's been years since I've had a car with a 6V system. When I needed to jump the car, I would use a 12V battery to jump start it, and then once the engine started, I pulled the leads off immediately and let the cars generator charge the battery back up to the 6V charge. I never had any problems doing this. Good luck with it.

I would not suggest that unless you have a switch that will allow it to be converted to the 6 volt charge aspect. It could explode.
