I was at a party and met this girl I had met previously a couple months before.......she had remembered me and started talking to me and I remembered how cute i thought she was, so I was flirting with her a bit, but then moved on.........I had friends I haven't seen in a while, and I remember she told me several times that she was going to be leaving for another party but may be coming back later.
Well the thing was, I saw her after an awkward moment of being one of several guys that forgot her name (we're human it happens), so while we were kidding around, I asked her (after like the 4th time she went out of her way to tell me she was leaving and "may" be coming back, I took it as a sign and said "In case you may not be coming back tonight, you mind if I give you a call sometime?",
then her eyes darted toward the other direction and she gritted her teeth and looked like she was in deep thought.
My heart sank........Why was that wrong?
So she then said "Yeah, I think I'll be coming back", hardly looking at me and then walking away. Then she never came back again and to be honest, it was embarrassing. Im 26, btw, so it hurt even more. She was probably a few years younger. Let me point out, that even though I got my ego bruised, it was more my pride that got pounded because I consider myself outgoing, friendly, and assertive when need be. At this time, I felt I had played it cool and not talked her ear off when she started talking to me again, and Im not a player. So it's not like i had all these different gfs and I hit on her.....
This happened on New Year's Eve btw and it still hurts. Why am I letting this affect me so much?

Why is it that i would rather eat glass than go through that again? You have to understand that her reaction was an underscore of lots of disappointment in my love life......life in general really. At 26, don't you find that to be a little embarrassing? I didn't know I was a 70 year old convicted sex-offender. You know, I didn't know that.

While driving down the road yesterday, I thought about people that didn't believe in hell, so that it would not exist. I came upon a stop sign, and I thought I woud just not belive it was there, so I went thru. looked in the my mirrow, and saw a band of cops comiming after me, I didn't believe they were there and kept going. i get out of here today. My betta splendens - Juju - was in a small 1 gallon bowl. Everything was fine - he never had a disease, always ate, etc. But for some reason, I decided to move him to a 10 gallon tank. I do everything - check for spikes, check nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and chlorine. The tank has a filter (aqua-tech), a heater, and a pump. Originally, the betta didn't have tankmates, but now he shares the tank w/ 2 tetras and 2 mollies - he gets along fine w/ them. The problem is that ever since I moved him to the tank, he's been eating less (went down from 4-6 pellets per meal to one or two). He even did this when he didnt have mates. I don't know if he sees the food (it was closer in the gallon, so it seems like it would be easier). I've really tried to feed him...even turning off the filter and the pump when feeding him to help him see the food, but its so hard for the poor fish. I know that he's hungry because he starts nipping on the tetra food and spits it out bc he doesn't like it.

I have just under 100 original works of art and over 200 vintage art prints. Is there some way that I can sell them all in one place at the same time within a reasonable amount of time. I just do not have the time to get them appraised and etc. for the big auction houses, besides, I would have to wait months and right now that is out of the question. I just want to unload all of them at fair market value as quickly as possible, if possible. I acquired them from an estate sale so I don't have any kind of provenance or history of them which hurts too I know. Well if anyone has any good ideas please get in touch with me.

I tried to change a setting a while ago so I could burn DVDs but gave up on it. I forgot how to change that setting back. It was something about DMA. I can't play DVD's on my computer because of that setting change. I need to change it back to normal.

so i had a 2 week thing of unlimited tanning on a regular bed but its been 2 weeks so now i can eather pay $75 for a month of the tropical bed or $25 for 2 weeks on the regular bed....what one should i do?
im low on money cause i spent like 1000 today lol so if i use the regular bed i will still get a bronze look right?
or should i do the tropical bed?
whats so good about the tropical one any ways?
y is it so expensive?
i need to get a BRONZE tan in the next few weeks?
what should i do?!

I wouldn't say I'm on a diet necessarily...especially because the word "diet" has such bad connotations these days. But, I am definitely trying to make healthier choices.

I haven't had pizza for a few weeks, but today my work ordered pizza for myself and all my co-workers. I didn't over-do it, but I did have one slice of cheese pizza. I used napkins to soak up most of the grease from the pizza until almost none would come off onto the napkin. Does this actually do me any good, or is it just a waste of time and something for my co-workers to make fun of me for?
