Could blurred vision when on this site mean that it is time to get off? There are pink elephants and green cows in my apartment too. Funny but you can walk right through the cow but the elephant keeps spraying orange juice all over. What does all of this mean?

So... everyone's thinking that loners should come out and talk to people if they have a problem, right, and not go out into the world, guns blazing, and kill people... ever.

But is that the message we're really promoting when we invade Iraq to kill off a "bully" like Saddam Hussein? Does that promote a message that it's okay to use violence as a last resort?

Or is violence truly only the last resort of the incompetent?

If God has been beyond your comprehension then how would you know? Wouldn't that be the opposite of Omnipresence?

I am neither atheist nor agnostic nor theist. If there is a God then what makes you believe that he falls into silly worldy labels such as "existing" or "not existing"? If there is a God, then certainly he should be able to transcend universal laws and worldy labels. So I believe that God is so beyond us that he neither exist nor does not exist. God is God and he is outside all of the worldy labels of "existing" and "not existing".

My 6 month puppy Cockapoo that is in very good health got hit with a broom on his backside by my crazy old neighbor. He went limp and I bathed him with cold water to revive him a bit. He was dazed for the first day and the day after that he was completly normal, waggin his tail and show no signs of pain.
The day after, which was yesterday, he woke up and did not use his rear legs. He shifted his weight to his front legs and barely put weight on his rear legs. He also peed on himself all day.
He was able to urinate and poop on his own when i took him outside, with no problem. Also, he's able to move his back legs and if they're pinched he feels the pain. He is able to wag his tail and i've tried to feel around for a painful spot but he hasn't responded to anything.
I took him to the vet this morning. He said that it might be a spinal disk and he gave him pain meds and a steroid injection. I was wondering what the steroid shot was for?

Students heard shooting then ran away, jumped, or hid. Noone confronted the shooter alone or in a group. The shooter went from room to room.

Fear is normal. Desire to survive is normal. What about thinking of others, community, leadership, courage? Sounds like two of the profs directed their students to jump to safety and died for them. One was 35, one 76.

One foreign graduate of the college, a student of the 76 yr-old prof, said he didn't understand the students abandoning their prof. What would you have done? He lived through the Holocaust only to be killed by a kid with two guns.

Make one up eg - My friend said rung instead of called.

I find it hard not to correct people on their words. I dont find it offensive if someone corrects me i would rather they did. I always try my hardest to put words in the right context.

Do you get annoyed when people correct you? Do you correct other people?

If you have that urge to correct people how do you over come it? My bf has shocking world knowledge. I haven't corrected him yet, but its so hard not 2.

personally, i'm hoping Sanjaya goes home tonight, but i'm afraid he won't. I'm also afraid that LaKisha might be in the bottom 3, but i don't think she'll go home. But if Sanjaya doesn't leave, we might lose Phil, who was actually pretty good last night and i don't want that, but i don't want to see Chris go just yet either. So i really hope it's Sanjaya.

But anyway, here's my personal pick...

BOTTOM 3:

Sanjaya
Chris
Phil

GOING HOME : SANJAYA!!!

and my prediction...

Bottom 3:

Phil
Chris
LaKisha

GOING HOME: Chris

Any more personal picks / predictions ???

I think my husband is tough on our children, ages 5, 2, and 4 1/2 months. He nitpicks at almost everything that the older two do wrong. If our oldest does something that we have told her not to do he won't let it down and then always goes into lecture mode. She is a really good kid and I think that every kid slips up and that the same lecture gets old after the 4th or 5th time in one week at least it does for me. Everytime they throw fits instantly he reacts and puts them in time out or takes something away from them without finding out the problem that is making them throw a fit . Our oldest is in preschool, and when she comes home talking about what she learned or did that day, he never seems interested. He makes the money and I take care of the kids all day. He feels that I do all the decision making when it comes to the children, but I find myself always protecting their feeling. He isn't really mean, just a little tough.
