Amendment II-

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Or shall we continue to arm our pilots, teachers,jugdes,life gaurds,mall security,day care professionals,actors,work places,garbage personal, small school children and every other place where gunmen can get into in order to kill people?

My husband got a new job 6 months ago. It's a high profile once in a lifetime chance. I have been very supportive of him (he had to go to school for 3 months and we were without his income for this time) and I am also very excited and happy for him. Anyway, ever since he took this job, he has been terrible to live with. I was always able to talk to him before (married a long time) but now whenever I say something about work - he says "Don't question me" and I have to walk around on eggshells to keep him from blowing up at me. It has gotten to the point that I don't even want to be in the same house or room with him. We have two teenagers. They notice a change too. He can't have a normal conversation anymore, it has to be about work. I feel like a piece of furniture in my own home. This has been going on for three months. We still are not where we want to be financially, but he is good at what he does and I know things will work out in this regard. Any advice?

So I've been reading about this student and it soulds as thou the school is aware of his depression and had problems with some of his writings in writing class that he was refered to a counselor..now if they are aware of this, and it comes to be that he mentions odd things in his writings which gave clues straight up will the school be responsible for this for not doing something about this student, of course no one knows who in the world is going to snap because anyone would have to snap like this to do seomthing like this which he did but if they come to find out what could happen anyway?

when you don't know what to do? I haven't worked in 5 years due to illnesses and I'm doing better now and need to work. I do have epilepsy and I don't know how much of a problem that is, I'm still working out the meds for it. That was not in the U.S. look at the things that are happening, like for example yesterday at VA Tech, we still need to protect our country, that guy was an immigrant here on a visa and quite disturbed. I am not saying that everyone that is a immigrant is like that, Im just saying that if we are still at war, then I think our borders need to be shut down until we are out of Iraq and our country is "safe".. what do you think?

I work in the health care field. I come in 2hrs before the clinic opens and get it ready for the day. This means I see 2hrs less patients than my coworkers do. Yet at the end of my day. I am beating most (if not all) of my co-workers in patients seen by a 2 to 1 margin. It seems that when they are not getting coffee, they are out to smoke. I have tried talking with management but they are spineless. I am going crazy with rage! What can I do that does not involve changing jobs or getting fired?

Look at the news coverage of 33 people being killed in this country. We have a population of over 300,000,000.

Iraq seems to have this many killed on a daily basis with a population of around 27,000,000.

I am not trying to take away from our dead. I know these are our loved ones and the people in Iraq are far away and faceless to most of us. That explains the disparate coverage in the news.

But what I wonder is, does this give you more perspective on the tragedy going on in Iraq?

(I am not suggesting a specific course of action except that possibly we need to ensure that our course of action will bring about stability to that country.)
