i have a globe & want to find out the diameter.i thought it was the measurement of all the way around but that's the circumference.

If there was no Evolution, why are there traces everywhere? Why do we still have teeth, when there is no room for them (anymore)? Why do we get goosebumps, when there is hardly enough hair to make effect (anymore)? Why do we send out pheromones, when we don't smell them anymore or have cognitive advantage over those instincts?

I know that under new regulations....it definitely is necessary if your're flying out of the country....but what about driving? Is a birth-certificate enough in this situation?

I just watched Tristan and Isolede. Got me thinking. Is that type of passion common? I have one of the strongest marriages I know, but it's certainley not passion filled all the time. And those I know who have that type of passion, are usually in unhealthy relationships. Sleeping with a married man etc.

I know what it looks like on paper, but my son can't decide. He is an all-state football player being recruited heavily at U of R, but not at Brown. He likes the Rochester area over Providence. They both are reknown for his field of study (cognitive brain science) I think he is leaning towards U of R but can't see himself turning down an Ivy League education.

I would appreciate any input from all of you with RA and on this or any other arthritis medication.

Side effects especially, I get at least half of the side effects for any meds so I am concerned that my Rheumatologist wants me to start this one.

Thank you one and all for your medication experiences and any help you can give me on coping.

I have a Trane 2TWB heat pump that won't cool. When the system is set to cool, the blower circulates air in the house but nothing turns on at the condenser unit. The circuit breaker keeps tripping 'off'. The outside disconnect doesn't contain fuses, the single pole contactor is pulled 'in' with 20 volts. The condenser and fan are not running, the fan isn't seized. The outside unit is pretty clean and I don't see any burned wiring. How do I test the motor capacitor to tell if it's the cause? Or could the system just be low on freon? Thanks

OK, I just have to ask this question. In the store with my husband, looking at bras. Certain kind I wanted, but had usual boring colors, white, ivory, beige. But they had a real pretty canary yellow one but not my size. I made a comment about wanting that color because it was so pretty. He just couldn't understand why I wanted a "pretty bra" when no one else would see it. I told him it wasn't for anyone else to see, it was for me, so that I would feel pretty underneath. Same with panties.
What is your take on that?

OK on Friday my friend cancelled meeting me because she was held up, but I had to text her to find out where she was before she rang to tell me she couldn't make it, I had wasted 2 hrs waiting around for. Then Sat. she text and said she was free and could pick me up straight away, I said my parents were out so she could stay at mine for a while. She replied with "I'll let you know". What is there to let me know, she was coming to pick me up anyway. 1hr later I'd still heard nothing I text her. She rang back saying she replied but to the wrong number, she was just coming out of TKMax and had to go home to a BBQ then she cut me off mid sentance. So she basically chose shopping over me.
Now she's invited me to sleep over hers next Sat. should I politely reject the invite or ignore what she did (I'm still annoyed, We've been friends 6 yrs and she's only been to my house for 30mins never comes even when my parents are away).
