If there was no Evolution, why are there traces everywhere? Why do we still have teeth, when there is no room for them (anymore)? Why do we get goosebumps, when there is hardly enough hair to make effect (anymore)? Why do we send out pheromones, when we don't smell them anymore or have cognitive advantage over those instincts?

What about all the transitional fossils, like the Archeopterix (bird and reptile) and the horse? The case of the horse is one that the average person can probably verify for himself. The prototype of the horse (Hyracotherium) was about the size of a terrier and had four hoofed toes on its front legs and three on its back legs. The fossil record of the horse is extremely rich in documenting the evolution of the Hyracotherium into the modern horse. Do the Creationists feel this is just variation within a "Basic Kind?" If that is so, then apes and humans are the same Basic Kind, for there is much less morphological difference between an ape and a human than there is between the Hyracotherium and the modern horse.

Gary: Archeopterix = feathers and reptile jaw with teeth. If there are no transitional forms, explain this! And we are momentarily transitional forms, too. The fossils don't explain Evolution, Evolution explains the fossils.

joeyfarz: yes, I would, but common ancestors. We have common ancestors with apes, we didn't evolve from apes. If a Chihuahua comes from a wolf (or at least a German Shepherd, which is proved), so what...?

dreamair: living fossils, like komorans, even whales and penguins are transitional forms. It's still in progress. Animals are adapting to modern conditions or getting extinct every day. Look at how fast certain pests change to meet our lifestyle!

You forgot about the appendix & the tonsils. Other useless parts that do not fit into our lifestyle now, but may have had use in the past..... The proof of evolution & adaptation is all around...... Hell, even the POPE himself agrees that evolution is "more than just a hypothesis" and that it is "compatible with christian faith." But do christians want to expand their knowledge & accept that there is truth in evolution? No! They ask questions like "Is Pope John Paul II a Holy Traditional Pope or is he the Unholy Anti-Pope?" ...... I am not a follower of any religions, but I have to give the Pope credit for having an open enough mind to see the truth...and acknowledging that evolution is real.
it's a shame that his statements are falling on deaf & ignorant ears because even if the pope condones the idea of evolution, there will be millions of faithful christians who will die before accepting evolution.
Edit:
I love the people who take darwin's quotes & try to make it seem like he didn't even support his own theories. Often times he would contradict himself when presenting information. Saying things like "It would be absurd to believe that all the intricacies of the human eye were created over time & adapted to what it is today...... that is what i used to think.... but after studying...blah blah blah".... He often would reject his own theories in the beginning of a "presentation" of information to make people see that he once thought the same way they did, but after doing so much research he no longer thought that way. It's like a marketing pitch.... "Oh yeah, there's nothing wrong with the way you do it.... in fact, i used to do it that way too..... Until i found THIS..... it change my mind about it completely"..... He was trying to convince others to drop their ignorance & accept something that had truth to it.

Your question is rather loaded, don't you think? Asking to cite references from evolutionary-biased sources for proof of creation is like asking for evidence supporting capitalism from communist sources. You seem to forget that those "peer-reviewed journals" are not free from bias toward evolution and against creation. Evolution and creation are just two different interpretations of the facts. Both use the same facts to come to different conclusions. So you cannot use an evolutionary-biased journal as a source to support either creation OR evolution. You'd basically be saying, "Evolution is a fact because these guys say so" or "it's a fact because it's written in a journal". How is that different than us saying that "creation is true because it's written in the Bible"? Both require faith to believe. It just depends on where you want to put your faith. But to answer your question, we have wisdom teeth because before the Flood, humans were bigger than they are today. The fossil record shows pre-Flood humans 9-12 feet tall. Because they were giant (along with all the giant mammals, reptiles [dinosaurs], insects, fish and marine mammals that the pre-flood fossils show us), they had bigger skulls and bigger jaws. The wisdom teeth fit in just fine into these larger jaws. After the Flood, human lifespans dropped off, and our size dwindled down to our present average, but the number of teeth in the skull (which was genetically determined) stayed the same. Now the extra tooth was being crowded out on a smaller jaw, which causes us problems today.

the cambrian explosion. it is the last stronghold for creationists.
the failing hope that science and religion can corroborate, or that evolution is "simply wrong."
i think it is amusing that you quote stephen gould. he is fantastic. a heavy hitter for evolutionists, that is very clever. but you quoted him from 1977. a lot has happened since then. you quote darwin, wow...a WHOLE lot has happened since then.
with a shift in technique and some new "devices" in the science of paleontology it seems that the very term "cambrian explosion" is in question. that triploblasts (animals) were around quite some time prior to the "cambrian explosion."

read more relevant and NEW stuff. see what is going on NOW rather than searching for things that support a dying argument. clips from stephen gould...brilliant. that link above is a gould piece not so ancient.

Gary did a good job.
Now, back to the wisdom teeth. Grandma said, and you didn't dispute what Grandma said "by the time you get a wisdom tooth through the gum you are wiser than you were when the tooth started coming through." This is why it is called "wisdom teeth." You Creationists and You Evolutionists had best not mess with Grandma.

You can point to all of the evolutionary evidence found in fossils - but you cannot answer the basic question.
If Evolution is true - where are the LIVE evolutionary evidences TODAY.
The fossil evidence is being proved false over and over - show us proof of evolution happening NOW.

I'm a Creationist, but I believe that Creation and Evolution are able to be the beliefs of one particular person, (me, for example) and that there are only two things that we disagree on.... the length of time of "days" (eg. the days that God had... to God, a day is like a thousand of our years) and I do not believe we came from Monkeys, we are just similar to them and far more intelligent, you wouldnt say that a common house cat came from a Tiger, would you???

Duh! Mysterious Ways!
The good thing about creationism trying to be considered a science is that there are only a few answers--namely, "goddidit" and "mysterious ways." Sure, both amount to "I don't know," but creationism is more about obedience and ignorance than reality. So if creationism is successful at attacking science and math on all fronts, our children will all attain great grade-point averages due to such easy material. "Goddidit" and "mysterious ways"

There is plenty of evidence AGAINST EVOLUTION:.
First, the 'Cambrian explosion'...... the millions of fossil types in Cambrian rock (oldest fossil bearing rocks) appear suddenly and fully formed and without any previous forms...IOW, there are no transitional forms.
Most well educated evolutionists, when forced to, will admit it, but very unwillingly, and even then they always want to seem to make new excuses for it. Usually they just don't say anything about it and hope noone finds out.
....
It is amazing to me that those who push evolution theory so vehemently don't even know what most evolutionary scientists have said about the fossil record....
Even Charles Darwin was honest when he confesses in 'Origin of Species'; " But as by THIS THEORY innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we NOT find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?" -Charles Darwin
To the above fact, even the most world renown (evolutionary) biologists agree...." New species almost always appear suddenly in the fossil record with NO intermediate links to ancestors in older rocks in the same region. The fossil record with its abrupt transitions OFFERS NO SUPPORT for gradual change". - Stephen J. Gould (Natural History , June, 1977, p.22)
"The extreme rarity (of transitional forms) in the fossil record persists as the 'trade secret' of palentology. The evolutionary tree (diagarms) that adorn our textbooks is.....NOT the evidence of fossils". - Stephen Gould (Natural History, 1977, vol.86, p.13)
The thing to remember is that evolution is still just a theory - a hypothesis, a speculation, an unproven assumption, and certainly is NOT supported by the fossil record.
According to Scripture NOTHING evolved but everything was created "AFTER THEIR KIND"....which is directly consistent with the fossil record.
"From the beginning of the Creation God made them male and female..."-- Jesus (Mk. 10:6
