I am Italian, i live in Italy, I like America and as you can see I post questions in English addressed to the US community . I do not see americans doing the same toward the italian community of answers. A lot of italians speak english pretty well, why you do not even try? We do not pretend that you speak italian ( I mean it is not a must) but I am sure that a lot of friends would like to discuss with you about politics, events or whatever you like to talk about. Why not trying? Open your mind (and your hearth). Thanks guys, your friendly neighbour from Italy.

Why is it that although the human genome has been mapped, it doesn't seem like there has been much (if any) scientific or medical advancement lately (at least none presented in the media). Why have they not made any of the scientific leaps that were anticipated? Any ideas?

i ahve this crush i am 31 he is 31 we are friends and he has a girlfriend who i can honestly say is not very good to him she messes around with other guys at the bar and hangs on them.well last week i decided that i would just try to move on and have fun. and that is what i did. i danced with other guys and i could have taken almost any guy home in the bar with me. not saying i am hot but when there is only 4 females in the bar it is easy. well he was working and he girlfriend left because i think they had a fight not to sure. but he was smiling at me and even messed up what he was doing when i was dancing with a guy i asked him jokinly if he was distracted and he replayed yes. the ? is should i just give up and be just his friend or should i try to get him. a long time ago when he was single i told him i liked him and it didn't hurt our friendship he told me i was to classy and a saint at the time he was getting over a 13 year relationship and having sex with alot of females

I met this girl and we ended up having sex without protection. How stupid of me, yes I realize that. Anyway she took the Plan B pill in the alloted time, had a HPT which was negative, and had her period for March. From what she told me it was a normal period for her. Now in April she has not had period yet (late by a week). Is there any chance that she is pregnant or paranoid? She does have some stress in her life and has said she has been late or missed periods altogether. What is best to do in this situation? Have another pregnancy test or a blood test? Ladies I would really like to hear your input on this.

I must say that I hate that. I wait politely in a queue and then along comes some smart a** who thinks they can go straight to the front ignoring all the other people standing there. I just have to let them know and tell them to go to the back. But I'm surprised how many people just let them get away with it. I know it's petty but we all have schedules andbusy lives and if we allowed this all day we'd never get things done.

If E=mc^2
then

mass= E/C^2, current speed of light is x meters/sec.
and E energy is in the order of joules

so mass= joules * sec^2 / meters ^2 , so does this imply that in order for mass to exist, time must exist

say time =0, then m = joules *0^2/ meters^2 =0

now consider a graph such as y=2x, obviouly the slope is 2 the rise over the run, impling that we can integrate to get the area under the curve

now going back
Let sec^2 = time for conviniance
and meter^2 = distance

mass = joules *time/ distance

now take the integral of both sides, by using time/ distance slope
integral(mass) = integral(joules*d(time)/d(distance))

mass is constant
joules are constant

so

mass= joules* integral ( dt/dd), dt/dd = instantaneous slope of time over distance

so time and distance are related ?

going back E=mC^2,

so 1/C^2 = integral ( dt/dd)

???

By profiling i mean using data compiled by credit reporting agencies and consumer reporting agencies to determine the character of a person, there are also many other ways to create a profile like "myspace". If people can get enough data on you don't you think they can compromise you somehow and take advantage. I think the initial intent of credit reports was noble but now it can be used to other means and with hackers running rampant anyone can get your credit report info.

If feel that my mom dosen't want me to socialize with other people and go hang out at the mall with my friends thats why im so shy because she dosen't let me socialize or experience things in life that your suppose to know. She always complain about how im lazy she dosen't really understand what it's like for a teenager it's very tiring and you just want to have time alone to be by yourself and have me time. I feel that 11 year old sister gets privillages and i don't at all when she asks to do something she gets to do it. But when i ask for something it's a problem it's always i don't have money or im not taking you anywhere. I want to know why this is happening? And what can i do to stop it?
