I must say that I hate that. I wait politely in a queue and then along comes some smart a** who thinks they can go straight to the front ignoring all the other people standing there. I just have to let them know and tell them to go to the back. But I'm surprised how many people just let them get away with it. I know it's petty but we all have schedules andbusy lives and if we allowed this all day we'd never get things done.

Pauls answer: that says it all, typical political correctness when it suits. Sorry you got that comment made to you. That's another topic that gets my blood boiling, and I'm certainly not a racist in any way.

In fact, the thing that annoys me at most is the ignorance of all these peole waiting in the same queue. They do nothing! I first tell him/her politely that he/she must wait at the end of the queue. If he resists I repeat what I've said with a louder voice. After this act, finally other people in the queue wake up and they also tell him/her to wait at the end of the queue. Thing is it's really difficult to wake up these people who seems to forget about their rights.

I am in the minority who would front the person and tell them to get the hell to the back of the line. I hate it as we all have busy lives and these days there is never enough staff to cater for the people trying to purchase items. No matter where you go you seem to wait and to have some idiot push in really ticks me off.

Yes I do-and I have had them be jerks and had others act as though I were rude for doing so but I don't care.
Neat, though-the other day this couple came up to a lady in front of me that they obviously knew. Under the guise of chatting with her they insinuated their way in front of me. I was just about to speak up when the store clerk said "I'm sorry, that lady was in line first and I'm serving her first"! I thanked her very nicely with a $5 tip.

I am with you. I let them know too..politely of course. "excuse me...this person is next...the queue ends over there" Most people want to avoid "confrontations". Allow them that, they likely enough "drama" in thier lives.....eh? But the idiot jumping the line needs to be "put in check".

I hate that! I always tell them that they need to go to the back of the line! People are just afraid to look selfish thats why most of the time they don't say anything, but me, I don't care what they think I was there first and waiting!

Hell Yeah...!!!! What gives that person the right to jump the queue! It's simply rude, I would never dream of doing that. It also annoys me when I'm the ONLY one who will say something.
