Hi! I have a problem with one knee when I do the breast stroke. It is very annoying because I like swimming. It feels like the knee is instable with a slight amout of pain.

What could it be?
Is it worth going to the doc about?
Is it best to avoid the breast stroke or do more to train the knee muscles?

what can we do to stop illiteracy (or even partial illiteracy (like when ppl can only read at a 4th or 5th gr. level))

do u think the government can enforce any laws that could possibly get ppl "literate"?

I have been drinking the green tea drinks to try to help with my wieght loss. But I am actually gaining wieght, what is the deal? I have cut back on my portions, started drinking water, exercising, and not eatting after 7 pm. But it's not working. I only do a little bit of yoga, pilates, kick boxing, and ballet. I am not losing any wieght!!!!! Is there anything that I am doing anything wrong? Or do I need to be doing anything else? I only do ten minutes of one a day...the rest of the day I am cleaning. HELP!!!

i did my taxes and found that i owe ~$600. so was wondering if i can buy some CDs or invest in some savings which can be tax deductible . basically instead of throwing that money away to IRS, invest and keep that money.

Does anyone else think there is a little smugness and hypocrisy in science and scientists when they say the KNOW what happened 4 billion years ago? Couldn't they at least give theists a break as it takes an aweulf lot of faith to believe such almost supernatural claims of a scientists?

Im an atheist and In the story of Noahs ark, only 8 people went inside the boat and everything was flooded and all humans died. Obviousy those 8 people were white, So how did Asians, Blacks, and Hispanics come about ?? It doesnt make sense to me that 2 white people can give birth to an asian or black. please everyone gimme your opinions

I'm working a job a few days a week for some extra spending money, and I want do one of the following with my first paycheck ($200 or so):

get new running gear (shoes, clothes)
get some new clothes
get my hair did
get a tattoo

hi, i'm almost 10 and want to lose weiigh so I look like all the other kids at skool and well i read youre supposed to be active and stuff. I was hoping that riding my bicycle for an hour would be good, but my mom said I dont need to worry about my weight? she buys all the food in my house, i dont know how am i supposed to eat healthy food? what im doing is at lunch hour, I replace the lunch she packs with a banana or something similar.
