First off, if you know anything about Imus, you know he is not racist. Second, if you listened to the ENTIRE conversation, you would know that he was comparing the tatooed rough looking players that look straight from the hood( a popular look among basketball players, male and female, thanks to the NBA players) that play at Rutgers, to the well dressed well groomed Tennessee players. In that sense he was right, the Tennessee players look much more respectable. Either way, he was not being a bigot, he has never been a bigot, and people are making too big of a deal out of this while thing. Why not just let this go??

My boyfriend; I love him to death. But there are times when I feel he is too polite. He opens doors for me and lets me go first, which I love. But he addresses everyone, even my 9 year old sister, as ma'am or sir (even me sometimes!). My older sister even made fun of him for cutting his eggroll with a knife and fork at a chinese restaurant! He also always puts his napkin on his lap and shakes everyone's hand. Am I just being paranoid or stupid? My family is not like that at all. Maybe I'm just immature; I just turned 18. Please I want you guys' advice!

Wouldn't they be assured a landslide victory, the french would love them over there. Why worry about that little problem of it being a foreign country, only Republicans are subject to the rules of law, ethics, and good sense. This is a win-win for the dems.

I got too excited about my first attempt at gardening and now the notoriously unpredictable weather in Oklahoma threatens to kill my plants.

I planted mostly herbs along with some strawberry, cayenne pepper and beefsteak tomato plants.

The strawberry plants and most of the herbs are fine, but some of the leaves on the basil, pepper and tomato plants are turning mushy and/or brown or black. I have covered them with buckets and bowls from the house to protect them from the cold, but they still look damaged.

All told, there have been three full days of cold temperatures and this is the fourth. It may be another day until temperatures return to normal. Is there any reason to believe that some or all of my plants will recover from this, or am I totally screwed?

Note: So far there's no serious damage to the stems, just the some of the leaves near the tops of the plants don't look so good.

Hello i love my wife so much it hurts. I think im not a real good husband. Before writing this i decided to think of the problems i have, so i dont just blame her and be one sided. My problems are i smoke, I dont talk enough to her, im always running a couple of minutes late and i havnt fixed the kitchen cubourd yet. The reason i dont talk enough is i work a 60 hour week and then after work to pay for the lifestyle she wants. I just feel tired and everyday is the same at work. I always tell her i love her she never does. She tells me things all the time such as your kids hate u, i hate u, dont tell me what to do i dont want another dad, im a pig, u dont help me, u dont make enough money and so on all the time. We go some where she leaves me and goes with her friends. I just want a wife that tells me she loves me, and shows me love. I dont go out at all or see my friends anymore i try to spend time with her. She goes out with her friends alot and worys what they think but not what i do
