Dusty Rhodes in his younger years was one of the best wrestlers there was, he had such a classic feud with Ric Flair back in the day and some of you may be to young to remember the old WCCW or NWA "Bunkhouse Brawls" which was one of the first gimmick matches to come along, being that it was a steel cage match in which weapons were allowed and Dusty Rhodes was the king of that match, and if you ever have a chance to see any of those old matches I would greatly suggest it b'cus you will see where the old ECW got a lot of its "hardcore" ideas....now Dusty Rhodes in his WWF days was a lot different and his gimmick was one of the lamest of all time, and I basically think it was Vince saying to NWA "look I took one of your major stars and basically made him a mid card jobber/biotch"
Dusty Rhodes has had some tough times in the past few years, I got the chance to meet him at The Gatherin of the Juggalos back in 2004 and he was quite an assshole, he wrestled a couple 10 min matches against Rude Boy and Lenny Lane and after each day of matches they had an autograph session afterwards....all of the wrestlers gave out free autographs and there were some major stars there (Jerry Lawler, Terry Funk, Zack Gowen, Trinity, Kid Cash, Sabu, Norman Smiley amongst others) and Dusty was the only one who charged ($10) for his autograph, also he reeked of alcohol and had a very negative holier than though attitude towards the fans....that day changed my opinion of him as a person, so yes I would say personality wise he is trash and I wouldn't attempt to get his autograph ever again, and I thought his HOF speech was very entertaining though a little long, but that of course is just my opinion.

I can't believe you put this question on the web. Dusty Rhodes, dude come on it's all a show. It's meant to entertain and the fact that you have an opinion clearly indicates to me that you are being entertained by him. Not all entertainment is bad, but all entertainment is good.

yeah he is one of the best wrestlers, talkers, and bookers
he made a lot of matches in tna and wwe today. he does a lot behind the scenes as well.
