I was 22 when I got married, but if I could do it over again I would have waited until I was older. When you are in your late teens and early 20's you are still learning who you are. I would wait until at least 25 or even maybe 30.

You have to think that this is a decision that will affect the rest of your life, and making a marriage work is very hard.

Do you want to make that decision before you can legally buy alcohol?

I think that's a great age to get married.U r done the teenage yrs so now u just grow as adults. As long as u r sure u will be happy 2gether n trust 1 another n only want each other then sure why not.I'm sure if I had met the 1 at a younger age then what your at now n was asked to marry I would have cuz when u love some1 so much u want to spend the rest of your life 2gether.Well good luck even though u prob won't need it.CONGRATS

One of my sisters got married at 17 and is still married, 27 years later. Another sister married at 19 and was divorced 4 years later. I was married at 20 and divorced at 37.

If I had to do it over, I would not have married at 20. I would have looked for more options. Turns out I had way more options than that guy.

We THINK we're fully mature at 19 or 20, and while some are, most are not.

Give this way more thought, and consider all your options.

There should be no rush in getting married, you'll have the rest of your life to spend together and believe me that's enough. Live your life to the fullest and start thinking about marriage when you are ready to settle down. I'd say around 28-30 years old then wait a few years before having children. I got married when I was 23 and I dearly love my husband but I should have waited a little longer. Just think before you leap because it should be forever! :))

If i were you i would wait - believe it or not - your needs and wants change as you get into your mid 20's. Wait until your 24 - if you guys love each other that much - a couple more years wont hurt!

but to answer your question - the youngest age i would get married is 24.

good luck
