I've tried using the equation pH=pKa + log (mol base/mol acid) and i get 6.26 g NH4Cl but apparantly thats wrong...any suggestions?

The plate covering the external vent of our cooker,has come away and a small bird has got in.We've seen fly in and out,so we think it must be nesting ,the noise it makes is off putting,to say the least.I'm also concerned to the damage it may cause to the air vent and the bird may get into the kitchen. My daughter has really heavy clay soil and would like to know the best solution to try and overcome it.She loves working in the garden and encourages her under 5 yr olds to plant seeds for the vegatable garden.Is there any easy way to make it more workable please? It does also tend to get water logged in the lawn area.Is the only solution to this to dig up and lay drainage pipes underneath, if so would it be expensive as she is on her own and has to be conscious of expenditure. Thanks for any helpful answers..

Okay, well. It was a bit weird..

I dreamt about the grim reaper and these random people in hospital beds. The people weren't recognisable..
There were like these white and red flashes of light, and each time there was a new frame..really strange, and the grim reaper was lowering his scythe(sp?) over this bed.

Even weirder, you know those advertisements you have at the sides of rodes? Well, behind each bed there was one of those, and before he stood by the beds and lowered his scythe he was on this, which had a deep blood red background, and sometimes he was in a Roman soldier kind of suit.

The last bed I remember best, it wasn't like a hospital bed..it was like a normal double bed with white/cream coloured sheets etc. There was a man and woman in it both wearing oxygen masks, there was a machine with a long tube going into the mans mask. And the woman woke up and plugged it into her own mask.

The reaper didn't come...my Dad woke me up.

I don't know much about the Jewish faith, so sorry if this is a stupid question? For us, it is a big religious holiday. How about Christmas....I heard they celebrate 7 days around that time, but not Christmas. They 7 candles...each day, one. What does it signify?

...for some Christians? Why on Earth?

Just think about "The Name of the Rose", that book they were hunting (and the blind priest was hiding), it was about comedy.

Now, are there still Christians thinking that laughter comes out of mockery and distorts the facial features into a devilish face, therefore it is a dreadful sin? (...and crying doesn't do the same thing, of course...)

I missed two pills and had breakthrough bleeding, it showed no signs of stopping but wasnt heavy so after a few days i came of my pill packet (with 5 left in pack) so that i would get my period . i have done but it is still light and i want to know when to start my new pill packet. i finished my pack on tuesday which means that my last one should have been today??? thanks Its the combined pill logynon Also how affective will my next pack be?
