Okay, well. It was a bit weird..

I dreamt about the grim reaper and these random people in hospital beds. The people weren't recognisable..
There were like these white and red flashes of light, and each time there was a new frame..really strange, and the grim reaper was lowering his scythe(sp?) over this bed.

Even weirder, you know those advertisements you have at the sides of rodes? Well, behind each bed there was one of those, and before he stood by the beds and lowered his scythe he was on this, which had a deep blood red background, and sometimes he was in a Roman soldier kind of suit.

The last bed I remember best, it wasn't like a hospital bed..it was like a normal double bed with white/cream coloured sheets etc. There was a man and woman in it both wearing oxygen masks, there was a machine with a long tube going into the mans mask. And the woman woke up and plugged it into her own mask.

The reaper didn't come...my Dad woke me up.

...Have fun. =P

The billboards were blank except for the red background and the reaper.

Hm. Well, when Death appears in a dream, it's not generally a symbol of actual death, but of transformation, of things like allowing old beliefs to die in favor of new ones, and initiation from one phase of life, or one level of maturity to a new one. Did you happen to notice what was written on the billboards at each bed? I would be ready to guess that each person in each bed probably has to do with a belief or quality that you are ready to shed. (Parts of your spirit that are "sick" so to speak) That Death comes in as a symbol, to relieve you of each belief that is doing you no good, so you can move on to a higher level. At the times that Death sheds his usual appearance and dons armor instead, the term "Spiritual warfare" comes to mind. Perhaps a portion of your self that is "warring" over whether to keep a particular belief or not. I find the last image rather intriquing, that it depicts male and female energies together, and also find it intriguing that the female seems to be "stealing" the stuff of life from the male energy. I think that this may simply be that we all, regardless of what gender we are, have qualities of both genders, and seek to balance them. It may be that you are having a struggle between your yin and yang energies, and they are seeking to balance out at this time.

I would tend to believe that this dream indicates that a big change is going to occur in your life. A stressful change, where your world might turn upside down briefly. This is not necessarily a bad thing, it could be representative of a good thing that still might be a stressful change for you. Be wary of those around you who may not have your best interests at heart, or who may be acting under false pretenses.

The conclusion of your dream does seem odd as well, but I believe it represents your ability to overcome this change. You'll wake up and realize who your true friends are, and you'll successfully overcome any challenge put in front of you. This dream may seem strange, weird, and dark at first glance, but I believe this will conclude positively for you.
