I had a religious discussion with a Christian today. She was very closed minded and seemed very offended when I tried to state my belief that many different religions are just expressing love for the same God.

She also didn't seem to know how to answer when I asked if everybody except Christians go to hell.

Why should I even bother discussing these things? I try to stay open minded and consider everybody's opinions. I don't even take a stance on evolution, because I can't prove for or against it. Every time I discuss these with a Christian, they just get very defensive and can't even consider my opinions to be true or even possible.

Schools teach history about the African-American Slavery, Japanese Interment Camps, and The Jewish Holocaust. So why is it then, that they do not teach about the Mexican Deportation?

I wanted to know if an international med student who is about to go for their clinical rotations in america has any financial options other than having to get a bank loan. Are there any grants or scholarships that can help pay for clinical rotations or any expenses that may occur?

I asked this question earlier but I don't feel like I've gotten enough advice to form my own decision yet...Anyway, here are my issues:

Background: I have 5 bridesmaids.

BM #1 (MOH): Going through a messy divorce (to which she's soley responsible and is not upset about) just moved 7 hours away. Seems somewhat apathetic about the Shower (other bridesmaids are trying to plan it, and they're a little upset about her apathetic attitude). Still wanting to be MOH and be in the wedding but I want her to be excited and more involved.

BM #2: Actress. Didn't tell me it *might* be an issue to be in the wedding after all, hasn't given me a definite no but told me that she'll order her dress and everything anyway, and if she can't come last minute she can't. Don't have time to replace her position, don't really want to be one girl short.

Issue #3: Bridesmaids that are frustrated with one another for various reasons

See previous question for more details if you want to. Thanks so much

I mean we've all seen the replay all their penalties and there is no doubt 90 percent of them were not penalties but it helped them get 3 points in different games.

Thanx!

Okay, I was VERY young when I watched this show and I can't remember what it is. It was either on Disney (I'm almost positive it was Disney) or Nickelodeon, and all I can remember is it was live action and puppets. One of the puppets was a Blue Jay, and I can't remember what the other two were. It was your typical kids show were a problem would happen and then it would effect everybody. Like a rumor would start, and end up getting to the person who it was about and the moral would be that things like that are bad. That all the info I can give since I was pretty little when I watched it, but I hope someone can tell me the name of it. I've been searching everywhere!

P.S. It's NOT Lambchop. >_>

Many living things in nature successfully perform quite complex tasks, which no one would ever expect from them.. One evident sign of a special design that invalidates the Theory of Evolution is the so-called bombardier beetle, which defends itself by squirting a special boiling chemical substance through a hole in its hind section toward its enemy. But how does this chemical weapon work?
The findings of scientists studying this animal are exceptionally amazing. The bombardier beetle prepares a concentrated mixture of two chemical substances (hydrogen peroxide and hydroquinone) in its secretory lobes. The mixture combines in the storage chamber, which is connected to a second chamber: the explosion chamber. These two chambers are separated from one another in a system similar to the valvular muscular system of human heart.

Obviously, white is albus, as in albino,
and black is niger, as in Nigeria.

But as neither skin pigment ( feel race/ethnicity are not proper words) is actually these colors. I was wondering if the Romans had no words for brown and pink. The Latin-English dictionary I tried yeilded no results. Can anyone help enlighten me?

Gay and bisexual African-American men become infected with the AIDS virus at a much higher annual rate than white or Hispanic gays and bisexuals, a new study shows. Each year, about 15% of gay and bisexual African-American men between 23 and 29 become infected with HIV, the AIDS virus, four times the rate among Latinos and five times the rate among whites, says the study released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Moreover, the average annual HIV incidence for all gay and bisexual men is about 4%, which is comparable to infection rates seen in the mid-1980s when the AIDS epidemic mushroomed nationwide.

It will stop the poverty stricken people from entering the USA and sucking of the American people. We as Americans can't help the whole world anymore . They need to help themself and by asking a small fee for a work visa is not a bad idea, if you want to come to American its not free and its a small price to pay to be an American. The only people you will see against this is the illegals and others that wants what America have to offer but don't want to help build America.
