actually it was corruption that led to it's demise.

Hi Varxav, The fact seems to be that all major civilisations that were decadent and had no morals eventually fell because of this and Rome was certaintly among the most morally corrupt.
Rome was already well on it`s way out before Christianity came along.

No. Rome fell because of its ever-expanding empire. It became far too large to be controlled and at some point in any nation the people would rebel and branch off and another sector would rule and so it did. That became Byzantium Empire.
