As you well know, there is much controversy over celebrating Christmas and Easter because it has "pagan roots".
I understand the bible states: (2 Corinthians 6:14-16.) "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?..."
but what is wrong with celebrating Christmas and Easter along with other holidays? Maybe it DOES have "pagan" roots, maybe it doesn't. The important thing is that we Christians celebrate the birth and ressurection of our Savior. And that being, Christians don't focus on the DATE, but the OCCASION.
So why not celebrate Christmas and Easter?

Thanks :)
God bless!
