According to credit report, credit card account was charged off in Nov of 2000. Michigan SOL is 6 yrs so that was up in Nov of 2006. Status details on credit report states scheduled to continue until May of 2007. Caller ID shows actual credit card (Am Expres) company is now calling. Considering this debt has ruined my credit for 6 plus yrs already and it's going to go off my report in a month or so...any advice as to what I legally have to do? I can avoid picking up the phone for a while but that too gets old. Anyone have this problem and how did you deal with it.
Signed..actually not a loser but this is one debt of many (all of which I have paid after losing my job) that is too large to tackle

He's paying a monthly amount plus additional toward an arrears balance. But he believes that she is looking to garnish from my paycheck as well. you ever see those "which one doesn't fit questions" like apple orange banana and peanut....well if your were too look at the animals of earth, which one would you think doesn't fit....
the one who has no natural defenses, the one who could not survive in the wild w/o protection, the one who is by far the most superior, the only one susceptible to diseases, and there probably are a few others.
i know this is a dumb question but someone raised it in my philosohy class. i choose not to believe but does anyone out there agree?

This sounds like a violation of my civil rights to me... am I wrong? My health plan does not cover treatment of cystic acne, which is a type of acne characterized by very painful, deep pus-filled cysts, for anyone over 20 years of age. They say that for people over the age of 20, treatment of this diagnosis is considered "cosmetic" and therefore, not covered. Yet, treatment of the the same diagnosis for someone under 20 is not cosmetic? This seems like age-discrimination to me and a violation of my civil rights.

The insurer has responded that more than 75% of the health plans do not allow benefits for the treatment of acne for people over the age of 20. Is this shockingly unconstitutional to anyone besides me? The reason I have cystic acne is because I have a diagnosis of polycystic ovaries which throws off my hormone balance. I have painful cysts all over my ovaries, should I really have to suffer with paiful cysts on my face too? Cosmetic, my @$$. Suggestion/comments?
