sarge927: Makes me think you don't understand geological processes.

The point is that Christians like to talk about stuff nonchalantly. If you actually picture what's happening you will have a totally different emotional reaction.

It's funny how "spun down" says those were "atheists" drowning. It's obvious he doesn't know his own bible because the great flood supposedly killed EVERYONE except Noah, his wife & 2 of every animal on earth.

EVERYONE was wiped out, christians, jews, etc..... not just atheists.

It is a shame, however; that it didn't actually happen. If the christians saw a video of the flood they probably would not care. they do not value human life, they simply wish to save themselves from the fate of going to hell. It sucks to live your life for a fantasy.

Edit:
Hey Sarge927, Mount Everest wasn't always 28,800 feet above sea level. If you knew ANYTHING about the formation of mountains you'd know that it's caused by the earth's shifting plates. It is most probable that the rock that now comprises mount everest WAS at one point in time beneath the ocean which would explain the sea skeletons found within. The mountain, in fact, is STILL rising due to "the continental collision that has built the Tibetan Plateau." There's nothing "godly" or "biblical" about it.

It's typical of a christian to jump at the first "evidence" they can grasp even if they don't know the explanation behind the evidence. "Oh yeah, they found fish skeletons in mount everest..... That means the great flood was real!" ... No thought is given to the fact that the continents & the tectonic plates are continuously moving. (hence earthquakes) They are so DESPERATE to prove their blind faith that they must grasp on to anything that may be a glimmer of proof that their fairty tales are real. Get a life people.

There might have been a great flood, something like the tsunami we saw a few years ago - but that is a Jewish story (it's in the old testament). It also relates only to the Jews - the entire world was not destroyed - if so, it would mean that Noah and his wife had children who then had sex with each other - same with Adam and Eve - if there were no other people on earth, we're all the product of incestuous relations (well, I guess some people are, which is why they are so twisted).

Such a film would get two thumbs up from me! Just like when a murderer gets the chair! This question is actually kind of funny, because many people ask just the oppossite: "Why does God allow all the evil things in this world to continue?" Seems like no matter what God does, He can't win with some people. Hey...the flood is mild compared to what's goiong to happen when Christ returns. It's what is called "justice".

So, Noah had a camera! I knew it! But honest, I would never worship a god who let innocent children and animals die, just to let some more incest take place. A Christian in his right mind would take those texts as a metaphor.

Ask yourself if the cast in the video was just actors acting. The video could be a documentary or lesson for atheists.

As one who believes in a spiritual plane of existence.

I am more concerned about the eternal than the temporal.

I'm not a Christian but I hate "World's most amazing videos of people dying".

I don't have to see it to believe it. That's the basis of faith. But consider this: Core samples taken from the rock near the top of Mount Everest (approximately 28,800 feet above sea level) were found to contain the skeletons of fish and crustaceans. Hmmm...makes you think, doesn't it?

God is just in all his judgements. Too bad human judges favor people. If God did not punish sin he wouldnt be holy and just.

And yes i would believe it.

God gives life and He can take it away.We all die one way or another, mortality is 100 %. The main thing is where you are with your walk with God when you go.

If you refer this to the time of Noah. These people had plenty of time to turn their life toward God.
