My girlfriend and aI are staying by Sea World and planning on going to a Padres Game, the Zoo and the Gas Lamp Quarter. Are we better off taking taxis or renting a car (economiclly)?

I know economics and finance go hand and hand. I would like to do the occupations I said above. I heard both are good, but I'm not really sure what to pick. Other careers I would like to do is perhaps budgeting(down the line when I want to do something that is less hectic). Thanks in advance.

Jesus was many things- Son of God/Son of man/ God-Man.
God( Elohim ) gave up his glory and became sin for those of us that are his.

I have been in Christ Jesus for 27 years. many times this problem has come to me, presented one way or another. I have to admit , I was closed minded to it and did not even consider the possibility.
We know that Christ was without sin and he felt pain sorrow etc. As Christ the man , he had to have felt all we feel.

The word of God tells us better to marry than to burn.

If Jesus had married Mary M. that would not have been a sin and to bare children , also not a sin.

My feelings about this , I am open. I am not disturbed either way. I am open to proof, not the opinions of man either way or the Church. The highest authority is the Bible .

We assumed that the apostle that Jesus loved was John as Jesus said at the cross to his mother , Woman behold your son.
Mary , mother of Jesus was to be mother to the young apostle.

My friend or 12 yrs just emailed me to say that she is pissed with me for adding her ex-husband to my Myspace friends list. I honestly thought she was joking and she went nuts on me! I have known them both for 12yrs and they were only together 18 months back 11yrs ago! They had one child back then and she has not been in her sons life the whole time. Her ex has been raising the child alone, and the child, is also friends with my sons. I can't understand why this is a problem. She knew we were friends before and now she is pissed I added him to my list. I'm not going to delete him because he moved clear acrossed the state and it is the only way I know he is coming to town so our kids can play together. He also used to be my husbands best friend when they were younger. We are all 28 years old and I think her behavior is really immature. She knows I would never hit on any of her exs. I'm not going to apologize for it. What could possibly be going on here? Was I wrong?

Today I had an appointment to see the Eye Dr. I showed up 15 minutes early to do the paper work and everything... 45 minutes later, I'M STILL SITTING THERE WAITING!
Why do Doctor's offices "stagger" appointments! I'm so sick of this!!! It is an appointment, and APPOINTED TIME TO BE SEEN!

Just curious. Theists seem to consider human beings the ultimate godlike wonder of the universe -- so what about theists who believe life exists elsewhere? Do they think humans like us exist on other planets (rather than another kind of intelligent lifeform)?

Do they allow that life elsewhere may be much more intelligent (and more "perfect") than Earthlings? Would they believe Jesus incarnated in other lifeforms, to "save" other worlds? Do any of them believe other life in the Cosmos may be older than Adam and Eve?

... In other words, how would theists who believe in extraterrestrial life envision intelligent life beyond planet Earth?


P.S. Yahoo ate my question during one of its hiccupping fits earlier today so I am reposting it.

Well the thing is, my cousin introudced me to this lad and i really like him, we see eachother alot around college and he told me over MSN that he liked me so i told him i felt the same way. (i know alot about him & he knows alot about me) Anyway were meeting eachother in July because he has a free house & we have said that we are going to have sex, the thing is im a virgin and he isnt but i felt dead embarassed by saying i was a virgin so i told him im not. i really want to do this but i am getting embarassed incase i get it wrong, what can i do? I'm 17 by the way and i like him alot so i want to do this. I don't want to tell him that i have lied to him about being a virgin or else he will think he can't trust me. I'm really looking forward to my first time but scared incase i screw it up.

When you are born into a religion there is a baptism of sorts and rituals of initiation. When life as we know it leaves our bodies there are more prayers and rituals before sending off.
Thats good, but I am more interested in that great period between birth and death. One is a Catholic, Hindu , Jew, Muslim , Buddhist Sikh etc not really by choice. . We are compelled to follow from a very young age . We are thrust with fear of a furnace of fire and damnation in a place called hell and joy of salvation in a place called heaven.
Between birth and death we can be poor and destitute, rich and famous , blind, lame, deaf, dumb, whole , black, yellow , brown ....
In societys vast mixi of human life forms all trying to reach God through his prophets, man yet waged bloody war on each other through these centuries. It seems we are getting worse by the day and are about to destroy the planet .

If we did not have religion and mankind brought up seeking inner peace through meditation....?
