recurring bladder infections can be due to anatomical problems in ur urinary tract, or because the source of infection is not completly removed. we use septrin (cotrimoxazole) as the first line one tab 12 hourly for 10 days. if it doesnt work then ciprofloxacilin 500mg twice daily for 10 days. these should be enough to eradicate your infection. maintain urinary hygiene, regular change in underwear, toilet seats should be clean.

Uristat is a medication to treat the discomfort of an urinary tract infection. You will need to contact your doctor so he can run tests to determine that you have an urinary tract infection and nothing else. He will probably prescribe you some antibiotics to take for 7-10 days. You need to take the full dosage of the medication until gone to clear this up. After that you need to watch your acid intake of drinks you consume a day. I'm not saying you can't have soda but you need to drink them in moderation, for instance you can have one soda in the afternoon and evening if you are sure to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day to help flush your system out. An UTI can be very irritating that's why you need to practice drinking plenty of water. Good luck on clearing up that infection!

Uristat will not cure a bladder infection. You need to see a doc for antibiotics to truely cure a urinary tract infection. See a doc and get this treated.

You need to figure out why you are getting them in the first place to keep them from happening.
Cranberry juice can help flush bacteria from your uninary tract and Azo (over the counter) can help with the discomfort, but these shouldn't be used as treatment alone. You should get to a doctor to keep this from getting worse.
