It's quite common to have more vaginal discharge during pregnancy.
What you're noticing is probably normal leukorrhea — the odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you occasionally noticed in your underwear before you were pregnant. There's just a lot more of it now, partly because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area. This discharge is made up of secretions from the cervix and vagina, old cells from the walls of the vagina, and normal bacterial flora from the vagina.
You'll probably notice more vaginal discharge as you approach labor, although it's likely to look somewhat different from the flow you've become accustomed to. In very early pregnancy, cervical secretions filled your cervical canal and created a protective barrier — the so-called mucus plug.
As your cervix begins to efface (thin out) and dilate, it may expel this mucus, and you'll notice discharge that looks like egg white or mucus from a runny nose on a cold day. You may even expel the plug in one gelatinous glob. This discharge might be tinged with a bit of blood.

I am 33 weeks pregnant with my second child. The egg-white discharge is a normal part of pregnancy. You will probably have that until you deliver. I had to wear mini pads to help to make things more comfortable with my daughter and I will probably have to do the same again. Some women have it through out their whole pregnancy others just in parts of it especially toward the beginning and end. There is nothing to worry about. Your body is just getting ready for labor. Good luck!

I have that book What to Expect When You're Expecting, and I'm pretty sure it said that some discharge is normal. In the beginning when your mucous plug is forming and in the end closer to your due date.

Several things it could be - Infection, Cervix Thinning (parts of mucus plug), or it could just be normal discharge. I'd ask your OB next time you go in if your not having discomfort. If you are having discomfort then I'd go in and let them take a look.

Bacterial Vaginosis. If it's pink or blood tinged it's your mucous plug. If you've recently had sex it could be semen. Go to the doctor and ask because there is absolutely NO reason to take a chance with the health of your baby.

Probably an infection. Either bacterial or yeast. Just call your OB they can prescribe something or they will tell you to use Monistat 3 day or 7 day if it's a yeast infection.

can you be "show" its where your cervix is getting thinner so it can dilate during childbirth... don't worry unless it has a bad odor..or you itch... hormones make everything down there go screwy so unless it really is bothering you...just wear a pad and get some rest...
