I lent $9000 to my ex to get a car. I have the reciept for payment and some history of bank statements proving that she has been making payments...but not all of them. She still owes over $2400. She stopped making payments and changed her number. First...do I have a fighting chance? Secound...do I have to know her where abouts to have her served if I do try to bring her to court?

Who's job to put the dividing bar on the conveyor velt at the cashier in the supermarket ?

3 years ago before the owner of the company died he gave me 5% of the company.now 3 years later the owners children say that it is under the corporate umbrella.I want to know is that just away to say if I leave and want my 5% I wont get it but if I sue the corporate umbrella will cover the companies losses.

I recently went to my cousin's house who had pink eye. The next day I woke up and had a lump on my eyelid and it hurt to blink. I had an eyelash that was really painful and I pulled it out. My parents assumed I had pink eye but after researching I think I may have sty. My parents have also put me on a Pink eye antibiotic.

What are the dangers of taking pink eye antibiotic if I do have Sty?

The light fixture I bought is meant to hang with the lights hanging down, but I want to hang it with the lights up because it looks better that way. Does it say to hang it down because the 3 glass shades are too heavy to be pointing up? Should I just hang it up anyway instead of hanging down?

Ok I have worked for my boss for several years and am very close to her. I consider her family and get the good and bad sides of that. But the problem is its almost like I feel like I owe her something. I mean she has done a lot for me and I love her for it. But I have also done a lot for her. In the past year I have called into work sick one day. I always ask for time off over a month in advance (she requires two weeks). I get to work early, leave late, do my job plus some. Yes she has been good to me. But I have been to her too. So why do I feel like I owe her something? And how do I stop. It is cutting into my personal life-and extra work that I do that I make A LOT more money at. I have a loyalty to her that I can not give up even for that extra money. Last week I went into work early and gave up a $100 job for the other work that I do. What is up with this? And like I said how do I stop? Yes its a guaranteed check but it would still be there if I stopped doing the extras

I brought home a cat from my dad's garage. She looks pritty young i beleave she was dumped cause she was pregnent. She has done very well but only the mute kitten as one eye open. I'm afrad they may have a cold cause there eyes are guncked shut. I tryed wiping them with a soft wet, warm cloth but it didn't seem to help. They are now 11 days old and getting chunky (so cute). Because one is mute im worried about there site. If anyone has ideas on this let me know

To theists (not all), what is the point in helping us live longer lives, when our worldly lives are just a spec compared to eternity.

To atheists (not all), I asked what the point of humanity is, and some said that it was survival. Don't you think we have this down pat? It may actually be worse for humanity if the average life expectancy keeps getting higher and higher.

This may be stupid, but I think it is a good point. Stop wasting time on things we don't need. If we have made it this far without it, why do we need to discover it or create it?

I heard bits and pieces about the famous "Popeye" cartoon being based on a time when America was fighting with another country over olive oil, and the only we could defend ourselves is if we stacked up our money and bought whatever we needed to defend ourselves. In the cartoon, Popeye (America) was at a constant tug of war with Bluto (the other country) in order to win over the heart of Olive Oyl. He defended himself by eating a can of spinach and gaining strength (power).

I have absolutely no idea if this story is true. But i've heard it more than once. I forgot the name of the "other country" by the way. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Tried to see Blades of Glory this weekend, but the theatres projector was blury, and it kept quitting out. After about the 3rd time of this, people were shouting to start it over and the staff said they couldnt rewind it! Along with many we left and got our money back, but confused why they couldnt start it over. Granted it might make the next showing late, but is there a technical reason why they couldnt start it over.

now it was talking about counting all the calories you intake in one day then starting the next day by cutting out 500 of those calories. Now he also says to combine aprox 30 mins a day for working out .. ex walking, swiming. Is this a good way to start losing weight?? Does anyone know anything on the topic?
