lol. i wish people would learn nascar. Post race inspection really looks at the winning car really closely more than the others to see if they are illegal. EVERY TEAM trys somethings that might not be perfectly legal, just to have an advantage. Matt kenseth got docked 50 points the first race of the season, and that was just off the twin races. Just because a driver wins doesn't mean he cheats. I am not a johnson fan but he lost his crew chief last year for cheating. If he was cheating this year, he would get caught. I don't know why people think you have to cheat to win. It is possible to win a race without cheating.

Yes. They do catch cheaters, sometimes, but the cheating is absolutely very inventive and may take a few races or a season for the officials to figure it out. When they do they make a new rule to deter the team and any copycats.
Since Knaus has been caught cheating 3 times, Jimmie Johnson's car is suspect. But NASCAR has very stringent inspections, and although I loathe the sight of Jimmie Johnson I know he is a talented driver and his success is not all cheat.

It's not that people cheat... There are loopholes in the rules that all the crew chiefs try to take advantage of... And sometimes this even is caught and penalized in post-race inspection. Some cheating does go on, but 99 percent of the time they are caught in post-race inspection.
As for the same people winning all the time... Most of it's because of the race team, Hendrick Motor Sports is a damn good team, they've been researching and engineering all their engines and aerodynamic packages for years....
But then newer race teams generally aren't as good, and don't win as much. Like toyota... they aren't going to be good for at least a year or two... just like their trucks were.... But then again, who really wants toyota in the Nextel Cup?..

Absolutely!
Considering how often people get caught you'd have to figure there are plenty that don't get caught.
I'm not sure though that just because certain people win a lot necessarily mean those people are cheating.
However, when you have a team that gets caught repeatedly, wins a lot and a crew chief that admits that it's his job to cheat and NASCAR's job to catch him something more needs to be done to them (#48).

Every single Driver and Crew CHEAT!! I hate saying it but its just a matter of how much they can break the rules wihtout getting caught and how much of an advantage they can get on another driver. Then when they caught if they do they serve the penality and find some other way to bend the rules and stop doing what they were previously doing. That's just how it is. They all CHEAT no matter how much we don't want to believe it!!

YES! Jeff Gordon seems to cheat . Like when he lowered his car 2 inches. He Won the race. Yet, when nascar did found out, he got no penalties . Well, maybe a couple penalties. Yet stil he got to keep the win. I don't think that's fair. Gordon is a good driver, don't get me wrong. (Dale Sr. even taught him a few good driving tips). I just don't think Nascar should not let him get away with things, like they do. That goes for the crew cheifs too. Should be:
No favorites. Treat everybody the same.
Lets Race :)BOOGITY,BOOGITY,BOOGITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, DEE DEE DEE!! Yeah! To name a few that are probably getting away with a lot more than others:
1) Chad Knaus and Jimmie Johnson
2) Ryan Newman and former crewchief Matt Borland
3) Kevin Harvick and his crew

Well, surprisingly my fave drivers are Dale Earnhardt Jr. , Ryan Newman, and Kevin Harvick. I dont think that Jr. cheats but i do know that Newman does occasionally. But if ya' look at the past few years of Harvicks racin' he has been disqualified from racing bc of his young hot shot temper and fightin' and stuff with other racers. It's also other racers fault for trying to crash the three and them movin' out of the way to stop it from happining. And the racers are gonna do it anyway so that's basically it.

Of course there are cheaters, they are called crew chiefs. That is why so many crew chiefs are not allowed to be at some races, like Chad Knous, Jimmie Johnson's crew chief, last year.
