For instance now at WM23 do they know the storylines to enable them to already know WM24's main event and champions?

less than a month, coz if anyone get injured in a match the gets a storyline way off. they had trouble this year in th taker batista match. no u cant do wrestlemania storyline this year coz some wrestlers will quit, get injured, some might pass away and new wrestlers joining.

I know, as of 2 weeks ago, they hadn't decided who would win between Batista and Taker, so some things take more thought than others. I do think WM is a set up for the following year - up to to the next WM.

i got this off a wrestling website ages ago.it's planned roughly 3 months in advance so it allows for injuries & feuds to build up & get the hype for these feuds or a ppv going.the storyliners plan these feuds & stories between stars to allow them to develop & plan the matches at ppv's like Mania.sometimes Vince will decide on matches like the Hair match at last night's WM - yep that was his idea.

no they usually plan mathces for the next 3 months for example they would know whats the main event of judgement day, i even heard a rumor that they already planned a match for summerslam as VKM will face the returning 619 Rey Mysterio

well, when i went they looked as if the matches were planed a coulple weeks before they are due since they got the whole week they got time.
and some matches are just surprisingly made like batista and the undertaker,come on every one wants to win the royal rumble

If I had to guess, I'd say they write them a pay-per-view at a time. For instance, tonight is WrestleMania. Starting tomorrow, they'll probably start working towards Backlash.

its been planned since they put George Washington on the quarter (N.W.O) i aint watched that ISHH since the rock went and done some real acting like welcome to the jungle choregraphed fight scences i prefer or Ricky Hatton or Amir Khan in some real boxing entertainment or K-1 tornuments

they plan roughly a year in advance so they already know..hence why theres always smackdown raw and ppv spoilers .. because they get leaked..just like everything :) the internet is a wonderful thing :)
