If the earth has a spacific mass which gives it a spacific gravity, we know that. If you take millions of tons of metal off the earth (in the form of satillites thus reducing its spacific mass) would this in turn effect the earths orbit around the sun?

Hi! I was checking my bettas tank today and he had bubble nests all around but his tank was really dirty. and I don't have a female betta anyways so I decided to clean it out. But now I kind of wished I didn't clean it out because I was thinking of getting two females and breeding them. How often do they make bubble nests? Thanks!

So, I know that it's really bad for me BUT I just love chicken/turkey skin. Not the floppy gross kind - we're tlaking the golden cripy goodness that I rush into the kitchen to steal. Is it just me or are they any other of you wierdos out there??

Okay, I know that I got saved a couple years ago, and I know what God expects of me. But I don't feel like I belong in church, and I still do things that I am not supposed to do. When I told my friend that I was a christian, she was like, "Wow. Your joking, right !?" Just like it was impossable that I was one. I want to go on my own spiritual journey, and experience diffrent things, just to see how they will work for me. Instead of following in my parent's footsteps. But I am worried that they will hate me, and that I won't be saved anymore, and that I won't go to heaven. I just feel so lost being a baptist, it just doesn't make sense to me. Can a person practice two religions at once, or is that against some spiritual rule? What do you think that I should do?

I reckon he has to be good...
I mean, if JKR was really going to make him evil, it would make no sense to put the Spinner's End chapter in Book 6, she would make it a surprise that he was evil, or gradually build it up... Putting his 'plans' in the second chapter goes against the complex plots she normally has. Also, it serves no purpose really - if she wanted to show him as evil, there are many better ways I'm sure - the chapter shows that he's willing to protect Draco, a loved student of his, and is therefore not evil. Plus you can already see in tht chapter the doubts Lestrange has about him - in order to be a double-agent he needs the trust of Death Eaters - by killing Dumbledore he'd get this. Plus Dumby wouldn't plead for his life. And what else would Dumby and Snape have been arguing about than the unbreakable vow/malfoy? If Snape was arguing about wanting to go to the other side, he wouldn't TELL Dumbledore would he?!

On one hand, we have the government trying to preach abstinece into youngsters, while on the other hand we have celebrities making sex tapes. Why can't there be one common idea that all Americans feel about sex? Either you follow your urges and go about it mature and knowledgeable, or you completely abstain from sex until marriage.

Brainwashing a whole society is simply not going to be effective - it ony creates divisions amongst people, where one division will agree with the preacher, the other will oppose.
