It is called "Mission San Diego de Alcalá" which translates into "The Mission of Saint Didacus of Alcalá". It is located in Mission Valley east of Qualcomm Stadium.
There is another mission up in Oceanside called "Mission San Luis Rey de Francia".
If you do a search you can probably find more info or go to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_missions

It is called the Mission San Diego de Alcalá. But for an eta bit of history...we have the Junipero Serra Museum in Presidio Park that was the original San Diego mission. They ended up moving the location 8 miles down to be closer to the river which is where it's at currently.

Basically, it's called Mission San Diego. You can take the Green Line Trolley from Old Town and it should take you there.
