I sometimes criticize others for misspellings and poor grammar, so how could I be any less harsh on myself?

I especially hate those typos that I don't catch until the Q or A has been posted.

Depends on the mistake and how stupid it was...something minor is no big deal, but something that may have a more profound affect, I like to learn from and not do again!
