Im 19 and my parents think that my bf is a bad boy.Because he smokes and he goes to late night partys with me!!But he's a realy nice guy he's funny and a nice guy but when i try to tell that to my parents that,they dont believe me!!So what can I do to get their attention and finally get them to trust my bf?

OK well my mom and dad are going through a separation after 15yrs,and now they are going through alot of difficult problems.For one thing my dad is in the Navy and is alway gone.My mom always felt alone and so she ended up looking for love from some else and my dad ended up finding it out.They have two kids together thats in the middle.My dad is willing to give it another chance but my mom can't seem to let the other man go cause I think she is afriad that it wont work with my dad and wants to keep him on the side,she doesn't love this other man but he is the one helping her keep her apartment.Anywho she always runs back to my dad but wont come home,I think she is scared to take a chance?How do I help her see that her family is here with us and not with the other guy?

When I joined my current employer, I signed a job offer and returned a copy to them. I am desperate to leave and only want to give 1 week notice when the time comes. I've been here less than 6 months. Can they insist on me working 4 weeks notice. I have never received a formal contract. Is my job offer, my contract. All it stated was start date, holiday entitlement and salary.

My school has these silly columns when it comes to choosing options. It may seem a good idea but I can't do the subjects I want and I need your help. I want to do a science job like forensics or pathology so what subjects should I take. (Science is complusery!!!) I wanted to do Geography, Food tech and ICT but theres this DiDA ( advanced ICT) thing that takes up the first two colums and I've found out about it and it seems so good. Its worth 4 GCSEs if you pass so I want to do that. In the third column there is Business Studies (definate no) Child development, Geography (what I'll probably end up doing) Music, Art and Textiles. Which would be the most useful? I work hard and I'm in the top set and doing very well but I want to do somthing quite fun (like food tech- but I can't) Can you please make some suggestions? I need to chose by Friday but I'm going to do it tonight because our form tutor said it would be a good idea to.

People actualy think banning these dogs is a good thing......are you serious? sounds like a bunch of biased BS to me! The top three reasons being:

1.Pit bulls have an average score tested by the American temperament society that beats even the "ultimate family dog", the Golden Retriever.

2.Pit Bulls are no more dangerous than any strong and large dog. They just happen to attract more irresponsible and abusive owners than any other breed.

3. A breed ban will only remove Pit Bulls from good people's homes and leave them in the hands of animal abusers who couldn't care less about the law.

So tell me, what is banning the breed gonna help? I have two pits and they're just big babies. I have never had such loyal dogs. Pit Bulls adore to please their loved ones and respond very well to positive reinforcement. They are intelligent dogs, who easily make associations. They can be a lot of fun to train and often do very well in obedience competitions.

Some of these are slightly farfetched, but not impossible, so don't laugh at me please.

1. Collect fresh-water ice off of Antarctica, and Greenland, and sell it as bottled water

2. Create fields of solar panels in the world's sunniest, hottest locations such as the American Southwest, African Sahara, Middle east

3. Build extremely tall Wind Turbines, tall enough to reach the earth's jet stream, which is always windy

4. Build very sturdy Wind Turbines on Mountain tops, Sea cliffs, and other low-lying area which are very windy.

5. Find healthy places to store nuclear waste, and start using Nuclear Energy (which doesn't have global warming-causing agents)

6. Invent filters which will not release CO2 through a car's exhaust pipe

I don't understand why places cannot seem to figure out that people are incompetent on the job interview. I called the pharmacy and the lady could not understand what I said. This is unacceptable. I don't care if McDonalds gives me a double cheeseburger instead of a big and tasty, I do care if I get blood pressure medicine in place of birth control. Does anyone else find this unacceptable?
