Humour is a massively important part of life. For many people , it's what keeps them going. The incompetance of the religious inventers to introduce religions that don't reflect this is the reason why so many religioes are so bloody serious all the time. I don't think that it is only Christianity that has a case of the glums though.
You are just not allowed to praise God with laughter. Unless you live on Craggy Island, of course!
Tell you what! Here's a nice Christian joke. There was a Muslim, a Hindu and a Pagan in a pub and a Christian walked in and bought them all a drink. What a fine example of humanistic harmony!
(Needless to say the Muslim didn't want his drink which started a big fight!).

God created people,
People sinned, born into sin and because of that could not go to heaven
God knew this, sent his son Jesus to die for everyone giving us all the opportunity to accept this free gift to either accept Christ or reject him.
The people that accepted that Christ died for their sins, and that they can do nothing to earn their way to heaven are Christians.
Just to clarify that noone is born a Christian it is a choice.
So to answer your questions, Christians are just regular people saved by grace, so some of us have a great sense of humour, some Christians not so much.
God has a sense of humour as well, he created all things and have you ever seen a platypus, Them things are Craaazzy looking.

To be honest clean christian humour is not my cup of tea and by the same token they would be horrified at what I laugh at. So yes he gave them their own personal individual form of a sense of humour. I think the devil gave me my sense of humour

Some of us have tremendous senses of humor. Somewhere I read Sam Kinnison either was a minister or was studying for the ministry. This was before he died of course.

Its not their fault tho, they all believe in a God who doesn't exist so have to make themselves feel better by preaching.

A sense of humor means an ability to see your qwirks and faults and laugh at yourself. That would be like laughing at God. That is a no-no.
