"Ouija Board, would you help me? Because I still do feel so horribly lonely..."
One time, me, my brother and cousin asked my Ouija Board if we were going to have to kill my mom's boyfriend. It spelled out the word- "YES" We haven't done it yet, but we now know that we have to. Because... because we must.

My friends and I had a great time for a while with one I got for my birthday. Most of the weird things that happened we found out later were the cause of someone controlling the eyedrop thingy. If you do believe in superstition (better safe then sorry, I always say) you should run the eydrop thingy over the OUIJA letters at the beginning of your session to call the spirits to you, and over the GOODBYE letters at the end of your session so they'll all go home. I've heard of odd things happening if people don't do the GOODBYE thing, because the spirits can't leave. Best of luck and have lots of fun!

What makes the ouija board "work" is the ideomotor effect. You allow your subconscious to guide the planchette. As the subconscious can come up w. some pretty freaky things, it's not uncommon for the messages to be dark and for people to get weirded out. Just remember it's all in your head.

I think if you believe it's real and you already believe in ghosts and things of that nature, then sure, it's real... but from personal experience, it's not all that mindboggling... more an interesting way to pass the afternoon by scaring the crap out of you and your friends.

Played once. Managed to freak all of my friends out by slighty tapping the glass and getting to move. Great trick to play if you can master it!

Please think about what you are doing, many people end up with wierd things happening to them and thier homes. I take it very seriuosly, things started to happen to me and my family when we messed with it. It ended up being scary. Please just get rid of it. Even if you are just playing around something bad can happen, because you tap into that negative energy. Even the famed psychic Silvia Brown warns against them, she says it only attracts bad or crazy spirits.

I think ouija boards are dangerous...playing with spirits is just inviting trouble...it's akin to withcraft....don't do it.
