"London, March 20 (PTI): Dhiren Barot, an Indian-origin man who plotted to use a radioactive “dirty bomb” here, was issued nine British passports, home secretary John Reid admitted today.
Seven of these were issued in his own name.
Thirty-four-year-old Barot from Kingsbury, north-west London, was convicted last year of conspiring to murder civilians in the city by blowing up gas cylinders and detonating a dirty bomb.
He is now serving a 40-year sentence.
The home office was recently forced to admit that up to 10,000 people had managed to obtain British passports by deception last year."

What possible excuse can there be for John Reid's criminal incompetence this time?

Or is John Read cunningly assisting the BNP membership as he believes, like BNP supporters, that the UK requires tough immigration laws to protects it's inhabitants rights first and foremost?

i'm dating a guy, and my problem is that sometimes he's not polite. he's very polite with me but he sometimes uses bad words when he's talking about other ppl. and i dont like that. and his idea is that i'm polite and that's the way girls should be but he's being the way BOYs should be. we're considering marriage but i dont know how i can ask him to be more polite even about others(considering his idea about being polite for boys). do u really think guys shouldnt be that polite?

OKay me and my ex broke up about a year ago. we are still in love, it just was not working out because of out 3 hour distance. When I bring up us getting back together even me moving out there, he doesnt think its a good idea. me and my fiance live in iran and we are both iranian.
my fiance is an immigrant visa applicant based on family pettition(his mother is a u.s citizen) and the case processing by NVC has been terminated and he is wating for interview time.
it's six years that we have been together and we didn't marry because his case would be changed so we decided to get marry after he get his greencard.

I have an old web site that contains files with .html and .htm file extensions. I have now changed all file extensions to .php.

What is the rule I should write in the .htaccess file in order to make permanent redirect 301 of all .html and .htm file requests to their .php equavalants?

I am on Linux/Apache and mod_rewrite is enabled.

I don't get it. Why do you want power. Its true you'd get a fat paycheck and many other such superficial luxuries, but why? They only bring you temporary happiness. Plus, I wouldn't want to be responsible for so many people's jobs. One decision I make could make/break some one else's life. Being the boss is more work. It is easier to follow. It has been done before. You just do what you are told. That's the way I see it.

I'm 17 and in my last year of school.

I believe i'm strongly in need of a laptop to help me in my studies. My mother disagrees.

Her arguement is that I have a computer at home I can use and she does not believe I need one until I am at university.

My arguement is that it'll be easier for me to continue assignments at school in my study periods. I can type my notes up straight away and I will have acess to the internet in my classes.

I do not have a part time job because my mother wont let me get on. She says I must concentrate on school work and I have sports practice nearly every day after school.

It's not my birthday until November.

Am I being unresonable and spoilt?

I had two rejections that were pretty harsh. One said that she wanted to have sex, but not with me. The other wouldn't date me because I don't have a car.
