Some people say that anyone can pretend to play a guitar and scream over a microphone. Others say that anyone can simply talk over a beat. These are both caricatures because rap and rock involve much more skill and creativity than simply screaming over a microphone or rhyming over a beat. As a listener of both, my impression is that rap demands more creativity in the studio but rock demands more skill on stage. What do others think about it?

Please I would appreciate answers from people who like both types of music, not ignorant people who say things like "rock is gay" or "rap isn't music". I know for a fact that both have crappy songs (which are the majority) but both also produce some awesome songs.

I am a 33 year old single female, yearly income appx $45,000. I have rented for 10 years now and want to buy a home. I have two student loans ($20k total) and a car payment ($9k still owed). Not much in savings. Credit score not great from a divorce. I have no idea how to start going about seeing if I can get a loan. Suggestions on steps to take would be welcome.

I am doing on a project on heat transfer fluid. Then i realise stream is commonly used for heat transfer fluid. Why is this so? is it becos it cheap or any other purposes? I can't take it anymore. I'm only 14 but my health is failing seriously,I'm not intelligent as others and I'm not as handsome as the others...i don't have anything..im so effed up of life..so many things to deal with..including the pressure of studies..and so much more...i have no friends in school i feel alienated...i just feel like ending my life...life is meaningless..

I'm not married, I don't have a partner or even a boyfriend. Neither do I have any children and both my parents have died. I have a sister and a brother, both older than me. My sister is the eldest of us but my brother is my closest male relative.

Legally, which of them is my next of kin, the eldest of the family (my sister) or is it still closest male relative (my brother)?

I usually put both of them but if I have to pick one, I put my brother as he lives about eight miles from me and my sister lives three hundred. So he has it for sheer practicality but I know they'd argue the toss so if there's any legal eagles who know what I can say to them, please tell me.

A father watched his young daughter playing in the garden.

He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and pure his little girl was.

Tears formed in his eyes as he thought about her seeing the wonders of nature through such innocent eyes.
